Why the heck didnt anyone tell me there was a new thread??? I thought you were all dead or had left the ship.

I apologise profusely :crybaby:

We all went through that horrifying thought. Maybe you for a bit longer, because you don't have any initiative or common sense :wink2::fisch:

Ohh yay! Yes it really does! And as further proof of what I said above:

Petra says:

Petra says:

Petra says:

Petra says:

Petra says:

a half blood prince without snape would be a bit... strange

Yes Petra, Snape is not going to be in the film that is named after him

My former English & Geography teacher taught us some stuff:

There was a young Lady from Niger,

who smiled as she rode on a tiger,

they returned from the ride

with the Lady inside,

and a smile on the face of the tiger.

It's better to kiss a miss,

than to miss a kiss.

An owl sat on an oak.

The less he saw, the more he spoke,

the less he spoke, the more he saw.

Oh wasn't he a wise old bird?(I never really got the meaning of this one though)

I never saw a violet cow

and I don't want to see one anyhow,

but I can tell you,

I'd rather see one than be one.

There were more like these but as long as my brain isn't working properly due to the heat here, that's all I can come up with now .

Oh yeah, so is it true that at 27C (was it 27??) it is declared a heat wave and kids are sent home from school - in Germany? (This was from the last thread, but I guess you didn't see :bleh:)

I think I will start a blog. Everyone seems to be starting blogs now. Have you started your blog yet Petra - go and make a blog!

(And I decided to go with photobucket until I have a *good* idea for a blog (and the time :bleh:) - I actually sent you an email about it :sneaky2:)

Great rhymes! Here's some more:

Now this is a story all about how

my life got flipped, turned upside down.

So grab a chair & take a seat,

let me tell you 'bout the MFC.

I was watchin' tv, ignoring my mother,

when an ad came on, full technicolor.

Billy Brown is gay, Big Girl, she's fat,

they're inventions of this Mika cat.

The face was dreamy, the curls were real,

but it was Grace Kelly that sealed the deal.

I fell in love, I was hooked for life,

and so I logged on to his fan club site.

It's brown and yellow, orange and bright,

and all the people are all real tight.

Someone's always on, it's always kickin'

unless they're asleep, or having chicken.

Meeks, you're brilliant, keep up the work,

but I really wouldn't care, even if you were a jerk.

'Cause if you quit today, I'd still have my posse.

PPR, and don't forget the aussies.:wub2:

.....let me guess...don't quit my day job?:naughty:

It's

"The more he saw, the less he spoke

The less he spoke, the more he heard" (to rhyme with bird)

And it means that you learn more by looking and listening, not talking :wink2:

Wooo I got to sleep in today, no 7.30 vertigo wake up call, and only minimu vertigo this morning and last night.....

(so maybe the tablets, combined with falling asleep on the loungeroom couch, have helped me)
