iadoremika
(You can think of your own name becuase I don't know what to call it.) Ingredients: - 3 onions, sliced thinly - 6 cloves of garlic, roughly chopped - 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil - 2 teaspoons Sriracha hot sauce - 2 tablespoons garlic chili sauce - 3 generous pinches of seasoning of your choice (I used Caribbean seasoning and spicy pepper medley) - salt and pepper to taste Directions: 1) Heat a saucepan on medium heat and add olive oil. 2) Add onions and stir with spoon until oninons get tender. 3) Add garlic, salt and pepper. Continue cooking until onions get golden brown. 4) Add Sriracha hot sauce, garlic chili sauce, and seasoning. Continue cooking. 5) When onions are soft and golden brown, and garlic is sweet, remove from heat and serve. ***This goes wonderfully on top of baked potatoes.***

B!anka
Ok, here is my confession from kitchen: This summer I have learned to use the cooker!!! and I LOVE it! I have bought myself as a prize a WOK. Yesterday I gave it a first try: Fried rice with mushrooms and a surprise! I put a bit of butter in the WOK and try to cover the whole surface of it. Then I put the chopped mushrooms and fry them. You can add some spices if you want. In the meanwhile, I boiled the thai rice. When it finished boiling, I took it out from the bag and put it over the mushrooms in the WOK. Then you can start playing with the WOK just as those guys do at TV! When you see that the rice started getting a nice yellowish color it's over. You turn the cooker off and serve it with a glass of ice-cold Coke! The surprise: small bites of chicken breast! A bientot, Bianca xx
iadoremika
Egg-cellent Breakfast Treat Ingredients: 1 slice of bread 1 egg Pinch of salt & pepper Sprinkle of shredded cheese Optional: hot sauce & other seasonings Other things you will need: A small ramekin dish A microwave A fork Instructions: Using the small ramekin dish as a cookie cutter, press it into the slice of bread to get a circle of bread. Stuff that circle of bread into the ramekin dish so it looks like this: Crack the egg into the dish and poke the yolk with a fork, so that the yolk spreads around a bit. Season with salt & pepper. If you want to (I used Sriacha chili sauce and hot pepper falkes) now add hot sauce & other seasonings. Put in microwave for about 1 minute, or until egg is cooked through. Add shredded cheese and heat for another 30 seconds, or so, or until cheese is melted and looks like this: Using the fork (cleaned, of course) slip the bread/egg out of the ramekin dish and into a bowl, or onto a plate. It looks sort of like a muffin. ENJOY!

iadoremika
Christmas Candy Cane Hot Chocolate * Everybody has candy canes and hot choclate lying around. Why not combine them for a tasty, simple, Christmassy treat! BEFOREHAND: -- Crush up some candy canes. What I did was I broke up mini candy canes and put them in a little plastic zip bag and took my dad's power drill and, with the base of it, smashed the heck out of the candy canes. Mine have small and big bits but you can smash it to your heart's desire. INSTRUCTIONS: In a mug of your choice, prepare hot chocolate of your choice. Next sprinkle in half a teaspoon of the crushed up candy canes. You can do more, or less, depending on what your tastes are and how big your drink is. Stir and enjoy! ALSO:-- You can top it off with some whipped cream and sprinkle a little bit of the crushed candy canes as a garnish!-- Add a candy cane as a cute stir stick. willywonka
Spaghetti alla puttanesca * 1 large red onion diced * Garlic to taste * Large bunch of parsley chopped up * Pesto–that’s the funny looking green thing next to the bowl of tuna—If you’re using fresh basil, which would be better, also use a large bunch. * Anchovies in olive oil—the whole can chopped up fine. Use the olive oil when you cook your onion and garlic…it’s yummy. * Olive oil–an additional tbls or so * Capers (3 heaping tbls) * Kalamata Olive tapenade (3 heaping tbls)— Whole pitted olives cut into thirds are better! * 28 ounces crushed tomatoes * 2 cans tuna fish * 8 oz of Quinoa Spaghetti. I’m allergic to wheat and find the texture of this pasta much better than rice pasta. It’s almost as good as the real thing, though it’s been so long I may not accurately remember anymore! * Fresh ground black pepper to taste and you might want to salt the water that you cook the pasta in, but if you don’t like salt much or you have to watch your intake, skip that because the capers, anchovies and olives all have a lot of salt. Saute the onion and garlic until lightly browned in the olive oil. Add the pesto, capers and olives and saute for a couple of minutes with the garlic and onion. Then add the tomatoes, tuna and the parsley and cook until it comes to a boil and then immediately turn it off. We like this not to cook too long. That’s it. Bon apetit. Garbo! Can you believe that's my husband fav dish???? And i've been doing it for 20 years the Portuguese way? No one has ever given me the REAL ITALIAN RECIPE! Grazi mille! willywonka
it's difficult even for us italians to get DA ONE TRUE version my cousins from Lazio {the region with Rome} use anchovy instead of tuna..what's the porto version? No pesto (hard to find already made), no anchovies... I googled a pesto recipe meanwhile... I'll start doing it following your recipe... And I'll try with anchovies, also, only use them in pizza...
