I almost cried too while reading the last paragraph. I always sensed that this album will be even better than LICM. I'm still sure of it even though I haven't heard most of the songs. (I'm a second album lover in general. )Toy Boy is going to be on it then. I love that song and all the others from Songs For Sorrow, but I hope no more songs than Toy Boy and Blue Eyes from the EP will be on the album. On the Radio 2 website it distinctly says that Mika will be in the studio with Ken Bruce on Friday morning, and the single will be played then, for the first time, so what is all this 20th July stuff? In school here in the US, college and high school, you're a freshman your first year, a sophomore your second, a junior your third, and a senior your fourth. (My son will be a senior in high school next year -- which means he'll be a freshman in college the year after that!) It's a commonly used term here to denote someone's second effort at something -- their sophomore effort. You'll also hear talk about someone's "freshman" effort -- means it's their first time out. You might also hear them speak of something called the "sophomore slump", because quite often the second effort doesn't live up to the high quality of the first effort -- therefore, it's "slumping" or going downward. MY OPINION: We will hear the song on Friday on Radio 2. In case there isn't any song on Friday...there certainly will be on the 20th as we were expecting on Radio 1 and mikasounds. I haven't move this to the front page yet for that reason -- don't want to detract from the beautiful single cover art... and yet, this photo does deserve to be on the front page, don't you think?
