Yeah uh .. it's a very small pic .. don't judge on that .. in that size every pic looks great :roftl::naughty: I think it's gonna take a few hours to process tho :boxed:

it was FANTASTIC! queueing since 9 o'clock in the morning was ALL worth it! and Ingie and I are the best LISTERS evahhh, haha.

I've had an amazing time with ALL of you although most of you have just got to know me yesterday because I'm not active at all on MFC.

That BG experience was super darn cool and MAMA P IS THE CUTEST PERSON ON EARTH!! well, shared first place with mika of course.

HAD A BLAST!!

 

oh and MIEK, will you upload the backstage pictures in front of the stage sign? or I'll just pm you my email address. <3

Thank you for all the great pictures!I forgot my camera,or i didnt thought of taking it wo the concert,cause i got to Düsseldorf very early,to go to the Japanese Quarter,to buy some things,did not think about bag controls,so i bought some expensive Beverages,mostly juice,wich i cant buy anywhere else :(

I want to go to Wiesbaden this evening so badly!Loved the concert!:wub2:

Arrived at the Phillipshalle at 9 in the morning with CottonCandy. There was no one around yet so we wondered if we were at the right entry. We decided to sit down and start Da Freakin' Amazin' Fantabulous Mikalicious list as we called it and we had some vla (we brought enough food to camp outside there for 2 weeks) and we played some cards which was pretty boring because there were only the 2 of us. There was one man working at the venue who would open the doors for us so we could use the bathroom and he let CottonCandy in to see the inside of the venue. Such a sweet man it was!

I think around 10 Tiibet and the Spanish girls arrived and we did some introductions and started gushing over Mika. We used Tiibet's boarding pass to start the list and soon after, more people came. We put everyone on the list and it all seemed to go really well, everyone was enthusiastic and willing to join in. But then 2 German ladies arrived and we went up to them and explained the whole list thing. They were really snappy saying: “We haven't heard about it, you're from the fanclub aren't you?” Eventually they agreed to take a number but they kept giving us the evil eye.

We just walked away.

At a sudden point, Rachel (MRachel on the MFC I believe?) came to get me and said security wanted to see me. They said that the fanclub would get a special door and would be let in earlier than the others and I would have to move em all. I asked if they were gonna use the list. The security man said I'd have to speak with the management of Mika. Then the German lady came again and also asked about the list. I still don't know what she was so worried about. She was on the freaking thing and would be let in earlier ffs. Anyway, I walked back to the queue and everyone was looking at me expectantly so I just shouted: “WHO IS ON THE MIKA FANCLUB?” And many hands rose in the air. Then I asked who was on the German fanclub and the other part of the hands rose in the air and I told them all the move to the last door which everyone willingly did. There were only about 5 girls still standing in the normal queue. Someone said that to me so I went up to them and told them to join our queue. 3 of them went immediately but the others were a bit reluctant. They said: “The security said it's only for the fanclub and they will check if you're on there.” I just said they couldn't possibly do that and I would make sure they would get in as they were number 12 and 13 and were queueing all day already and they finally came to our queue.

Everyone was in the tiny space somehow and Mellody and I told them all they didn't have to queue yet. I think it went kind of like: “What are you all doing? It's 3 o'clock, get some space and breathe!” and everyone walked away and just chilled, could go to the bathroom etc. We sat down and an ice cream van arrived. We were convinced it was from Mika, but it wasn't and I was slightly disappointed :P

People from the other queue came and asked what our queue was all about and when some other MFCers came too late, we had to refuse them. I felt bad and didn't want to be a bitch, but otherwise it would have been out of control and we didn't want to waste this opportunity. Meanwhile we were anxiously waiting for John, to get BGs and LGs and to talk about the list. But it was 4 and he still wasn't there so we were just walking around and I was getting incredibly nervous as I felt so much pressure on me for letting it all go right.

Then they started putting up the merchandise and we were looking through the window to see what they sold. Nothing interesting happened so I turned around and started to chat and then Miek screamed: “OMG IT'S JOOOOOHHHNNN” and she nearly gave me a heart attack. I immediately rushed to the window but they couldn't open the door. I just started doing my famous mime act on the window until John finally came out and asked for who wanted to be on stage. I wanted to try and with me many others, but before we went in, I told him about the list. While I said: “Oh and here is the list with all the people who were here early...” many started screaming: “INGIE, INGIE, THE LIST, TELL HIM ABOUT THE LIST.” Which I thought was a funny moment. John told me to give the list to someone who would not come in, so I gave it to Mellody and went in with the other hopefuls.

It was AMAZING!! I was a lollipop girl and enjoyed it so much. But here's my report:

 

Düsseldorf, it was a day I’ll never forget! :wub2:

We left home at 9 pm or something. My parents drove and Joyce came with us. It was a long ride but after being stuck in a traffic jam we arrived at the Philipshalle around 1 pm. There were already some people, and Joyce and I got number 29 and 30. It was great seeing some friends back and meeting new people from MFC!

Joyce and I wanted to try for lollipop girls, so we were very excited when John came at about 4.30 pm (I think). There were a lot of candidats and I was very nervous. When we walked in the building we could hear Mika soundchecking :wub2: Mama P chose Lollipop girls & Big girls, but there was a problem ‘cause in the end there were 5 LGs so she asked if someone of the LGs wanted to be BG.

We saw Mika and he said ‘hello’ :fangurl: We had to wait in the dressing room for a while but it was a nice group and time flew (was nice meeting you all‼); we also saw some people from the band. It was so funny when Jimmy came and took a pic and posted it on twitter :D There was a box with food and there was water too. Later we went to the stage for like one minute and we signed our contract. Mama P gave us the wigs we had to wear. We practiced the Love Today intro thing in the corridor a couple of times when Mama P was watching. In the end Cherisse came and watched too. We could hear it when the support act was singing.

I thought the LG dress fitted perfectly! I loved wearing it and the shoes were cute too! We took a lot of pics and after the support act was finished and everyone got a coat, we went to watch the Mika-show! We were standing quite far from the stage. But when Mika came I immediately felt sooo happy and I enjoyed the show so much! :wub2: When Mika started singing Dr John, we went backstage and took our wigs (& masks for the BGs). I actually didn’t like the wig ‘cause they weren’t easy to wear. When we were backstage we could hear all the songs Mika sang and that made me relax. I wasn’t very nervous. When we had to go on stage I just concentrated on the person who was before me and a throwing the flowers. Unfortunately something went wrong and everyone gave the flowers to Mika instead of throwing it :aah: After that we could go back to see three songs and after Toy Boy we took our wigs again. When we were on stage for lollipop I just jumped and danced a bit, but I had some trouble with the wig :teehee:. Lollipop was over in a wink and before I even realized I stood near Jimmy and we had to bow, the thing is: I couldn’t see a thing because of the wig :naughty:

Backstage I thought it was really cute that Mika was doing a little dance on Kick Ass and then he watched the audience from behind the curtains :wub2: It was like he wanted to see if the audience liked the song :teehee: When we were waiting in the corridor Mika was there and he shouted: “I’m starving!” :naughty:

We also took pics with Imma and Jimmy. They're great!! After a while we had the chance to meet Mika. I have a pic with him and Joyce and I gave him a little gift: a chocolate lollipop and a luminous rubber duck; he was like: “ooooh! The colour of the light changes!” :wub2: I said “see you in Antwerp and Amsterdam!”

 

When we went back outside it was raining very hard and the other people were waiting there. I saw some MFC-friends back and felt so happy! Joyce and I decided not to wait anymore ‘cause we still had to drive a couple of hours.

 

It was amazing, and really, if you have the chance to be an LG or BG, do it! But only if you go to more than one gig ‘cause you miss a part of the show.

Soooo we went inside the building and were taken backstage and I said that I wouldn't be chosen this time. My dahling Flori said: “If you don't get chosen, I won't do it!” I just looked at her as if she was some mad woman and said: “You ARE going to!” She then said: “But I want to see the gig with you!” But I just didn't want her to miss such an amazing opportunity just because of me. So well, after a while we arrived at where we had to be and John put us all in line. It felt like we were being auditioned for an important model campaign. Mama P came out and she just looked so sweet that I had the immediate urge to hug her. She was kinda panicking because of the big group and picked out the big girls first. She was then faced with a dilemma as neither of us was too big to be a big girl and she didn't want any small big girls anymore and there were only 4 LG costumes. So, she first eliminated (sounds like Idols hehe) the ones who had already done it before. Then there were still quite some left and she said: “Let's go by criteria...who has the right shoes?” But as this made no difference she still had a dilemma. Then Annemaaike, a dutchie said: “My mum is a big girl!” And Mama P let her be an LG. Then someone else pointed at one of the big girls and said: “She's my friend!” And as this was an open door, ready to be kicked in, I grabbed Miek and said: “But she's my lover!” To which John grinned and said: “Can you prove that?”

Then one of the German ladies who gave us the eye before, Mama P said she could be a big girl but she had no clue what a big girl outfit even looked like. So Flori explained in German and she just said something like: No, I only want to be a lollipop girl, I'm not big. I think Mama P wasn't happy with that response because she then said something like: “You're too big for a Lollipop girl, so if you don't want to be a Big girl, then leave please.” This was a sudden fierceness I had not expected!

Tiibet suggested she could be a big girl because she thought she was too big for the lg costume, but Mama P said she fit in easily.

Then Mama P decided that those who were going to more gigs were not gonna be today, but their names would be put down on a list and they could be Lollipop girls at another gig. So John asked me to which gigs I was going and I said Barcelona and Madrid and Amsterdam. He assumed that Flori was also coming with me so I said: “This is her only gig, she has to do it!” And I stepped back and Flori wanted to walk away to but I just said: “Stay!” and she listened yah! So then we left and followed John and he took us to the management office where he wrote our names on the notepad. We were just chatting and all of a sudden I looked to the left and I saw a familiar face coming closer and then I realized it was Mika passing us. He said Hello and we said hello back. Then one girl was crying and John gave her a wristband for an m&g. Someone asked if we could get one as well and he all gave us one. Tiibet was standing behind him and he didn't see her so he just went like: “Everyone has one now?” And I said “Noooo she has to have one!” And he gave her one and then I said: “We love you John!” And he just said: “Yeah they always say that!”

We were then escorted outside and we went back to the others to keep them updated. Mellody then came to me and said we should start ordering the queue soon. She went off and told them we were gonna start in 10 to 15 minutes and everyone was fine with it. The ordering went smoothly. Mellody shouted the numbers and everyone got in line. The security man came out and asked who had the list. I came over and he said that I should stand next to the security girl and make sure only fanclub members would get in. But that would mean I would lose my spot, so we said we had the queue ordered already and they were fine with that. The girl was getting ready at the door and I just knocked on it and told her how many people were on the list and she said it would all be fine. So 5 minutes before the other doors opened, we got let in, no bag check and we could walk to the front...well we were walking really fast that is haha. I ended up in an amazing spot, front row center with Tiibet next to me.
