Exactly what i think happened in this case...

According to comments on twitter everyone seems happy he won, just because Sarkozi is out, even because he is not a very charismatic figure..

That is the danger of the upcoming US election as well. Most people love Obama as a person because he is cool and charismatic and well educated but the US economy has been in such a sorry state for so long something needs to change soon. His rival is especially unlikeable but you never know which way it's going to go when people don't have jobs and are losing their homes.

Rulers are always to blame when things go wrong, it happens there, here and everywhere, but i'm not sure some changes work and this might be the case..

It happens in Portugal too, whenever a socialist government is elected and screws up, right after the people turn to the right party

This is probably the way a large percentage of people cast their votes in most countries and it is often these votes that decide who wins the election.

I personally think that public figures standing up for political parties is rather unfortunate as party politics is not black and white and it may mean associating themselves with something that later on turns out to be dodgy business or lame leadership. Supporting democratic causes is different, of course, that's something I expect people in the public eye to do.

I must say, I'm a little disappointed Mika didn't mention while tweeting last night, that he'd be on the radio this morning!

the timezone confuses me. Does that mean that he's already ON the radio or he WILL be on the radio?

Where do you know that? Is there any link of a broadcast or anything else?
