Big up to my rave dog. She is listening to my new record ;)

Well this tweet approaches the meaning of the word 'news'. New record!

Melachi looks really cute in that grey hoodie!

It's quite obvious what my Wiener Dog thinks of dressing up... on medical advice he was 'sentenced' to wear a baby jumpsuit.

From Mika's facebook:

Mika's been confirmed for another festival - he'll be playing the International Balloon Festival of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu in Quebec, Canada!

The Balloon Festival returns in full force for its 29th year, which will be held from August 11th to 19th, and Mika will be helping the high-flying celebrations with an exclusive performance on August 15th!

The full programming will be revealed on June 13th and tickets go on sale soon, but in the meantime check out the website for full details! http://www.montgolfieres.com/

Good for you guys! :thumb_yello: so I guess this is the news..?

ah but you should be, Wonka - Hollande thinks that policies in the eurozone should be for growth, not austerity - so this might be the start of a change for eurozone countries :mf_rosetinted:

Do I detect a note (or a smiley) of sarcasm? :naughty:

I don't quite understand the role of a president in a parliamentary system since our own head of state is just a figurehead. And well, I can't say I've ever had any interest in European politics outside the UK. The US election isn't until November and they've been banging on about it all year already. It totally dominates the media to the point where even a Canadian election wouldn't cause as much fuss here. :aah:

The guy just told Germany that austerity is not a fatality, and we all know how left parties in france act, they get isolated from everyone else...

I don' think he won coz people liked him, they just happen to be unsatisfied with Sarko and opted for him, just in case...

Canadians elect new leaders seemingly for no other reason than to punish the old ones.

Exactly what i think happened in this case...

According to comments on twitter everyone seems happy he won, just because Sarkozi is out, even because he is not a very charismatic figure..

It haopens in Portugal too, whenever a socialist government is elected and screws up, right after the people turn to the right party, that's what happened the last time we voted...Our late prie minister who was a socialist led the country to crisis and payed for it in the last elections...Portuguese decided to end up the socialists ruling the country and elected a right party guy, who is know paying for the nonsense the other one did...
