Milda
How much were the tickets in Lithuania? This Tallinn festival's tickets arent expensive at all. I've never seen festival tickets at such a low price. First two days the cheapest tickets went for 20€, later 23€, 26€. More expensive ones were for 43€ the whole time. Louiza
First two days the cheapest tickets went for 20€, later 23€, 26€. More expensive ones were for 43€ the whole time. Oh I see. They werent as expensive as most other festivals for sure but the Estonian tickets are in such a great price.
Milda
Oh I see. They werent as expensive as most other festivals for sure but the Estonian tickets are in such a great price. It wasn't a festival It was more like a Mika concert at the same time as a festival. Sea festival in Klaipėda is for free. And when Mika was here, you had to buy a ticket for his gig, not a festival
Christine
I really don't like to see moaning in the gig threads because people come here to get excited about their gigs. I also love Mika going to Estonia just because the MFC porn server was hosted in Estonia so it makes me laugh. I may just go moan in that Futuroscope thread though. He is already cleverly using that one French song to get him performances in other French speaking parts of the world (e.g. Montreal). Perhaps I can be free to comment on this without being accused of ill will towards the French since we are now talking about Canada. Mika blew off Canadian Idol and the MuchMusic Awards that were broadcast to all of Canada and in the case of MM, the US and the rest of the world. Now he is appearing on some show that I've never even heard of and there is absolutely no chance I would have seen if it weren't for MFC. I just don't buy this theory that the French love him so that's where he goes. I think the opposite is true. I am convinced that Mika could have had decent success in ALL of Canada (with a chance of spilling into the US) if he had capitalized on the opportunities that have already been offered. Canada is a lot more open minded than the US and we were the first to embrace Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, et al and I don't see why Mika would not be among his peers in that respect. First two days the cheapest tickets went for 20€, later 23€, 26€. More expensive ones were for 43€ the whole time. Madonna tickets are $375 here. Just sayin'

ängi
At least it's in July this time, not August. Otherwise I would waste my whole summer waiting for him. If it would be in August then I would have a chance to go..
Milda
Madonna tickets are $375 here. Just sayin' And this is one of the reasons why I don't want to see Mika as huge as Madonna is By the way, you reminded me something. A few days ago I found some forum with a thread named "Mika, is he the best pop star since Madonna?". And of course half of the people (or more) didn't knew who Mika was This was off topic, sorry.. Ok, what to do? I want to press that freaking "buy" button so badly. But I must wait for other dates, ah this is too hard

kaisam
I have a few questions.. Hope someone can answer them 1. Are VIP tickets suppose to mean first rows? 2. Is it more like a festival or more like a separate Mika gig? Because when you want to buy a ticket, there's only info about Mika. 3. Why are regular tickets so cheap? (I'm not complaining about that ) 4. I read that last year Cranberries gig was canceled at the same festival. Is this true? Can you get your money back if a headliner gig is canceled? That's all.. for now It's a big 4-day festival and Mika is just the headliner act. 4. Yes, the Cranberries got cancelled. There was some trouble with the tickets. There were 2 kinds of tickets - one-day festival tickets and the Cranberries tickets. Only those people got the money back who had the special Cranberries ticket. It's the same way this year, so remember to buy special Mika tickets.

Christine
http://www.mikafanclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19237 Thanks Miro. I didn't remember having a thread that explained the porn server. It's like some of those queuing experiences. Horrible at the time but makes me laugh/nostalgic in retrospect.

Something clearly doesn't work though... I don’t believe that the French have any special understanding of him, either(although his visual image probably goes down better with them), but they clearly adore Mika appreciating their culture and language so it is a kind of mutual respect, in my understanding. It would probably be similar in any other country if Mika spoke in their language. Should this language be Spanish, for example, he would probably get invitation to the LatAm Music Awards and similar events, too, except that the Spanish speaking world is full of bilingual international artists so it would be more competitive for him. babspanky
Well you might want to reread what you just posted then! It's the most ridiculous and most unneeded comment I've ever seen. And apparently you care enough to share your frustration with the world. A bit jealous are we? A bit patronising are we? Jealous, no. I've been to plenty of gigs, more than people like Rose and tiibet, why would I be jealous ? I just do not understand the way the majority of members react about all things Mika. Perhaps it would be normal if MFC's population was 13 but I expect adults to be more rational. Anyway feel free to put the normal MFC spin on anything I've said. Sigh. I respect your opinion that you find it odd to be happy for a stranger. But what annoys me, and also makes me react to this, is that you give the impression that you look down on people. (note how I said: give the impression. It may not be your intention) I really don't understand how it can bug you so much that other people are happy for another, that you feel the need to comment them and even make them feel like their abnormal for doing so. If you don't like to do so, then just don't. And leave it to that. I don't like to discuss every aspect of Mika's personal life, so I don't. That's just my opinion. Milda
I know I should have waited until it's confirmed, but I just bought a pair of tickets I'm so exited at the moment. Hope this one (and every other concert) will be confirmed and won't get cancelled later. Now I need to plan my trip, I have 3 months for that

Most people I know have empathy and to say the truth I wouldn´t be able to work in my profession without empathy. This has nothing to do how old someone is. I´m really glad to be able to feel the way I do and I don´t want to defend myself for my feelings!

How Can you be so selfish and not be happy for others, even if you don't know them?! And like you Said in the thread for the Danish gig "let's see if he show of this time, just saying" and then you just leave again! There is so many people there havent seen him yet! And they are looking forward to the gigs! And yes you have seen mika more times than Tiibet and rose, and what so? You feel cool or what?! - if you cant feel happy for others than yourself, then don't come here and put others Down, just leave the thread!
