it was the second time the Boys didn´t get enough votes, maybe Mika was Aware it would be senceless to keep them and I think he and Morgan talked about it before to let the audience vote again so both of them weren´t responsible.....

I have a totally different perception of his decisions though. It would never have come to my mind that something wasn't right until you said it, it made/makes total sense for me. Which is of course my personal perception

 

I agree with you that he didn't sound very convinced, but I think it's just because there was not a big difference between both of them, it was not like he was convinced that one of them was clearly better than the other one and should therefore go into the next round. And the last week it was the same, Mika said himself directly after the show that "la scelta alla fine è stata molto difficile". So for me it's not that he completely changed his mind, last week he wanted to give a boyband a little bit more a try than Lorenzo. And this time he liked Fabio a little bit more. As far as I can see he didn't have had the opinion that they should give them a try "no matter what" (like Simona). It was a balancing between two different options in the 2 weeks, and that he supported the Freeboys a little bit more in comparison to Lorenzo doesn't mean that he will support them more in comparison to every other contestant.

 

And this time the situation was a little bit different as well. Because the Freeboys had gotten a second chance. But again they went to the Ultimo Scorso. That was a clear statement of the televoters that they don't want this boyband and with the second decision-televoting they confirmed it again. I think you have to admit at a point that your experiment will not work out. If the Freeboys wouldn't have been last again the situation would have been different. But they were last again, and I would have considered it much more suspicious if the judges would helped them again in the next round, with 4 people defying the vote of the public 2 weeks in a row.

 

Also I don't think that Morgan changed his mind, he just didn't want to make the decision and gave it in the hand of the televoters. As I understood it he didn't wanted to eliminate the Freeboys because of his personal taste, especially after his very emotional reaction last week, and I respect him very much for that, because that you don't like anything doesn't necessarily mean that it's not good.

 

Another thing, not related to the above part now, but it just came to my mind: With the elimination of the Freeboys and Lorenzo there aren't any "sex sells"-candidates in the classical sense (cute boys teeny girls are drooling about or woman with "big hair and big boobs" like Mika said so nicely himself) which you could market very good in the contest anymore.
