Will someone record it? (I don't have a recorder )

Because last time on the site they put the whole audio but they didn't put the whole video but just a part of it, and watching it live we can probably see the off-air parts...

Anyway, looking forward to it! :)

Ireland has the X Factor for Mika and his acts

16 Oct 2013 17:35

Italian version of hit show makes itself at home at Slane Castle

Ireland has the X Factor for Italy after pop star Mika brought his hopefuls here for the judges’ house section of the Italian version of the show.

Despite the jaw-dropping talent of Mika’s star singers, it’s the Emerald Isle’s unrivalled beauty that will take centre stage when the show airs tomorrow.

More than two million Italians are expected to tune in to see the u-25 hopefuls singing for survival in Slane Castle in Co Meath.

And the vital air time will bring a €3.75million pay day for Irish tourism.

Thanks to its world-famous rock credentials, Slane Castle was the perfect choice for the Grace Kelly singer/songwriter and Italian X Factor mentor Mika to bring his remaining six acts to.

As well as Slane Castle, the 25-minute Ireland judges houses section of tonight’s show will also feature lots of Dublin landmarks – including Trinity College, Temple Bar, Merrion Square, St Patrick’s Cathedral and Windmill Lane.

And Italian viewers will also see stressed Mika seeking divine inspiration on Malahide beach as he struggles to whittle down his six hopefuls to just three.

The programme will air on Sky Uno and will then be repeated on a free-to-view digital channel called Cielo.

Niall Gibbons, CEO of Tourism Ireland beamed: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Tourism Ireland to promote Ireland as a fashionable and ‘happening’ destination to one of our key target audiences – young, affluent adults who live in northern and central Italy.

“With an estimated publicity value of €3.75 million, the programme filmed here is truly an excellent showcase for Ireland and a wonderful opportunity to bring the destination to the attention of millions of potential Italian holidaymakers.

“Ireland’s starring role in X Factor Italia allows us to demonstrate that Ireland offers a mix of buzzing, lively nightlife as well as quiet beaches and relaxing spots.

“Our aim is to capitalise on the already high levels of interest in Ireland and convert that interest to actual travel and we will inspire potential visitors, positioning Ireland as a hot destination by highlighting vibrant experiences in both urban and rural settings which have the power to resonate most strongly with Italians.”

Marilyn is speechless! Marilyn is almost swinging on Marilyn's chandelier in the hall.

Some great publicity for Mika in the IRELAND Mirror! OMG!

Ok, he talked about the French Castle where he was last week, did he say something about new songs? I can only understand the general idea :aah:

Not sure but I think he said he wrote some songs there :teehee:
