Hello everyone,

it´s so cool to see all these Mika fans in one place here 😊. This is actually the first Fanclub I have ever joined. Mainly because a lot of the fandoms out there seem to be rather toxic. But as soon as I saw what you guys gave Mika for his 30^th birthday I knew I had to join the MFC 😊

 

I used to listen to Mika as a little kid growing up in London back in 2007. But I didn’t really know who Mika was or anything about his music. All I can remember is dancing to Grace Kelly and Relax, Take It Easy on my way to school and back again. Years after my time living in the UK, I heard Relax, Take It Easy on the radio in Germany again and I was immediately carried back into my happy childhood years in London. Because the song meant (and still means 😉 ) so much to me, I decided to look up who the artist is…and I couldn´t believe that the very same artist also wrote Grace Kelly! From that moment on I became more or less addicted to Mika´s music. I think I have never in my life been so excited for an album to drop like I was with My Name Is Michael Holbrook. And I have equally never been happier listening all the way through a record.

…oh well I could probably go on for days. But I just wanted to say a quick hello to everybody and have a great day 😊

hello , and thank u for the warm welcome! Sadly I won´t be able to go to a show this time around 😭 Mainly because Mika isn´t playing anywhere near to where I live. Are you going?

yes, I´ll see him next week in Zurich and in December at Bercy in Paris and two more times next year.

wow, that´s amazing!! I´m kind of jealous now 😉 I would love to hear from you how the concert was. Are you traveling to Zurich (and the other places) "only" for Mikas show? 

I live near Düsseldorf. And sadly the closest place to that (Utrecht) is already sold out. So I´ll probably won´t get to see him on this tour...😭

I found some very good friends because of Mika and we are really close now. So we plan our gigs together when it´s possible and meet up the day before the concert trying to do some sightseeing and stay as much time as possible together. I don´t care about the Kilometers I have to travel because Mika and my friends are worth every minute and every cent I have to spend.

well, that´s really nice!! Especially having friends that enjoy the same music is very precious I believe. Because it´s one thing listening to good music on your own or going to a concert by yourself. But actually doing it with friends and making/sharing the memories together, that´s something very special. And it´s probably even way more fun than going alone 😁

It´s really nice to hear that you made these friends because of Mikas music I´m hoping on making some friends here too. 

 

Are you maybe going to share some photos or videos somewhere here? Either way I wish you and your friends a lot of fun in Zurich next week!!👍😊 (...and of course also in Paris, and at the other gigs you going to see next year )

Hey, they've added two shows in Utrecht 😍 Maybe you'll get a chance to see him there after all. I just bought my ticket for Utrecht as well 😊
