La Notte Rosa 2023 prosegue tra piazze piene e suggestioni all'alba

 

Prosegue il fine settimana della Notte Rosa 2023, la 18esima edizione: a Riccione l’alba ha regalato uno scenario suggestivo col concerto in riva al mare di Paola Turci. La cantautrice romana ha regalato alla rassegna Albe in controluce un concerto intimo e intenso per sole voce e chitarra.

E sonorità acustiche ieri sera anche per Carmen Consoli, protagonista di un apprezzato ritorno sul palco di piazzale Roma. L’artista siciliana fu il nome di punta, sempre a Riccione, della prima edizione della Notte Rosa del 2006.

 

A Cattolica Mika, in grande spolvero e pantaloni rosa, ha trascinato il pubblico del suo concerto all’Arena della Regina.

 

Sulla quantità ha invece puntata il Tim Summer Hits a Rimini: la kermesse musicale targata Rai2 che per tre serate, ieri sera l’ultima, ha portato sul palco decine di protagonisti delle playlist estive. I tre appuntamenti in piazzale Fellini saranno poi visibili da domenica 16 luglio in prima serata su Rai 2 e in contemporanea su Rai Radio 2 per tre domeniche. Lo show sarà disponibile anche su RaiPlay.
Misano ha invece puntato sul carnevale che ha attraversato le strade tra il centro e il lungomare con i carri allegorici realizzati dai comitati di frazione.

Molte proposte ieri sera su tutto il litorale romagnolo, nei centri turistici come nei parchi, in spiaggia come nei locali, per proseguire con un’edizione che si spera possa essere davvero l’inizio della stagione turistica, dopo la falsa partenza di giugno penalizzata dal post alluvione.

I am almost 100% sure about the first 5 and the last 4.

Unfortunately I'm not sure about the rest in the middle - although I think Underwater and Yo Yo came right after each other.

I’m not used to write gig reports but I feel like I have to this time - can someone please bring me back to reality?
 
Cattolica is one of the typical sea towns of my region, so I definitely didn’t want to miss a “home” gig but I didn’t know if I could make it until the very last few days since the deadline for submitting my master degree’s thesis was two days after the gig day. I managed to finish it in advance and was lucky enough to find some good tickets on Fansale a few days before.
 
Since I saw several French festivals last year and that nothing new had been released in between, I wasn’t expecting anything special or different from last year, I was just happy to finally meet some familiar faces again.
 
But as soon as we distributed pink balloons and the concert started, I felt like I was finally back into our world where everything was okay. I loved each single moment of the gig: the new arrangements and transitions between songs are so strong this year - wow; not to mention the flower themed outfits and piano, and of course Overrated which is so powerful live and different from the symphonic version we heard in Florence. It was then followed by Good Guys and Stardust that he rarely does in France so I really loved the setlist this time - many changes I didn’t expect!!
 
A part from that I loved his mood and felt he was happy to be there again. At the beginning he said that he felt very lucky that so many people were there and bought tickets despite what happened last year (with the Italian tour) and what happened with the floods that hit our region a month ago. He came in the audience 3 or 4 times, for BG, GG, HE and also with a bottle of champagne to shoot in the middle of the audience the cover photo for Vanity Fair that will be published on his birthday next month. 😎
 
The audience was super involved and never sat down, even non-fans. I spent the whole second part of the show standing, dancing and singing *on* my chair - another wild thing I didn’t expect lol
 
He chatted quite a lot, saying that he needs to improve his Italian (not true) and that he’s re-using Duolingo for Chinese and Greek (“for complicated reasons I can’t tell” cit). He read several signs and said that he couldn’t repeat some of them “especially because we’re in a town called Cattolica” (= Catholic 😂) and then accepted to bring Zita on stage during UW.
 
The gig ended with WAG and we didn’t get the green cape+tiger, neither Lollipop - maybe he just run out of time.
 
We waited for him at the end of the show and it was a really nice moment between MFCers!! Almost an hour later he came out and kindly stopped with everyone, signing things and saying hi, but didn’t want to use his voice much.

On a personal note, that was one of the most precious moments I’ll remember as I managed to give him something I embroidered a few days before in occasion of the "May your head always bloom" era - he didn’t want to use his voice but made me understand with his eyes and gestures that he really appreciated it and was touched…so here I am still with my head in the clouds (thanks to Bea and @Mamy Ma for the videos! If someone else happened to film that moment i'd be happy to see it!)

Ah, and on the way back home while I was checking if I tagged him on my stories, a "Mika mentioned you in his story" suddenly appeared in the chat... another thing I didn't expect, too many things I didn't expect 😂

Mika – Arena Della Regina, Cattolica – 8 luglio 2023

 

Mika ritorna in Italia, anche se in realtà ha bazzicato spesso da queste parti. L’ultimo tour vero e proprio risale a ben quattro anni fa.

Era il 2019 quando l’artista britannico ha portato in giro per i palasport il coloratissimo Revelation Tour

 

Immediatamente dopo il periodo Covid era stato programmato un nuovo tour particolarissimo. Erano state previste doppie date in tutte le città incluse nel tour. La prima sera esibizione nei teatri, una specie di unplugged piano voce e la sera immediatamente successiva la festa si sarebbe spostata nei palasport con tutta la band e le pirotecniche scenografia a cui Mika ci ha abituato.

 

Per una serie di ragioni mai del tutto chiarite il tour è stato annullato dopo un’unica data all’Arena di Verona nonostante le prevendite fossero già state avviate. Ora Mika è pronto a riprendersi quello che gli spetta di diritto. Una manciata di date estiva si spera facciano da prologo ad un imminente tour più corposo nei palasport.

 

Intanto Mika in questo concerto celebra l’estate e la spensieratezza. Regala fiori giganti al pubblico festante. Si diverte e fa divertire.

Eravamo alla data di debutto in una caldissima serata sulla riviera romagnola. Si potrà fare festa insieme a Mika durante il mese di luglio a Perugia il 10, a Marostica il 12, a Matera il 15, a Chieti il 16. Ultima data (per ora) il pomeriggio del 23 in alta quota ai Laghi di Fusine in provincia di Udine per il No Borders Festival.
