I feel a bit dumb asking this, but can't find anything about this after searching the older posts. Plus being an olding, I am just not up on this stuff!! Is it possible to send Mika something like a small present through his management company? I mean, what do people usually do? How do pop stars get all their fan mail and gifts from adoring (read happily obsessed) fans?? And how would you know if it was really going to reach him? For those of us who may never get close enough to meet him (geographical challenges, or bureaucratic ones) what can we do??? Does anyone actually know the answer to this? If this is one of those forbidden questions on the forum, please just PM me with the answer.

No, it is only one hour time diff from Japan to HK and then probably only 2 hours or so to the East coast of Oz, assuming that is where he is going. But the flights...4 hours Tokyo to HK, and then about 8 hours to Sydney. The seasons are different though, so going from potentially hot and sweaty Asia to cooler and unpredictable Australian weather. (Mika take your cardy!)

So now we see he is doing Japan May 26, Hong Kong May 28 and Australia (somewhere) May 31st to June 3! Busy week!! I am sure there are crazy fans everywhere just like us. They must be so happy now in Hong Kong!!

I have all three as well. (UK, US and last week I ordered the Japanese one too) It is just fun and a bit obsessive and well... Life is short, you gotta splurge and do silly things like this sometimes!!! If you just want to hear the bonus tracks they are up on youtube with various slide shows. Your sympathy is there too.

What I really enjoy is when people post replies with all the photos in them again, and I get to scroll through them again instead of hunting pages and pages back to try to find them!! And it has to be said, I have those very same Wayfarer sunglasses STILL, and I have had mine since the last time they were in fashion (oh yes I am THAT old!!!) One of my favourite pictures of Roger Taylor (Queen) is him wearing those same sunglasses. and now Mika likes them too. Yes!!

Maybe this one hasn't had enough time to get seen, Killer Queen???? How could you not like his voice best...that was what got most of us here in the first place!!

I am sure the price would work out MUCH cheaper to get it direct from Japan yourself than the site you mentioned (sorry!). And the countdown (for those of us here in Japan) is on until June 2Oth....

I am so sure some of you will post a very detailed report of the exhibition so those of us overseas can get the picture...so to speak....

As promised I went to Shinjuku in Tokyo today to take my own pictures of the HUGE poster. I was having trouble finding the store (Tokyo is very big and shops everywhere) and then I nearly fell over the street when I finally found it. It was like OH MY GOD THERE HE IS!!! I felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest!! I think everyone wondered why this crazy blonde woman was taking photos of the poster. I thought if anyone asked I would say he was my brother or something (...apparently all we foreigners look alike, so it would have been believed I am sure....) It is midnight in Tokyo now, so I dunno if I can post my pictures tonight....a bit technically challenged...but soon they will be up....

ah yes the orchestra is fake, but someone is actually playing the spoons, if you listen carefully, and if it isn't the real spoons, then it is a synthesizer/computer or something made to sound like spoons. So it is easy to be convinced that there is a real spoon orchestra. It is really hard to play the spoons...ever tried????

I always wondered what he looked like before he had those curls...

Thanks for posting these...somehow it is very hard to imagine Mika as "chubby" (or did he say "tubby"?) I wonder what he looked like with more meat on his bones.....
