  1. really? imo it sounds a lot less cheesy than i expected it to. like the "na na na" part, they could've made that completely cheesy, but they didn't. i really like the song, also in boyzone's version.
  2. why are we voting him for mr twitter if he doesn't tweet?! am voting, as often as i think of it. it's good that you keep reminding me by posting here in this thread, because i always remember for like 2 minutes, but after 20 i'm always busy with other things so i forget to vote again.
  3. japan? sleeping seat? i only remember that he went to australia via dubai with emirates, and that he didn't like the plane when he saw it but he liked the interior. was that the sleeping seat? don't remember.
  4. LOL, i just don't want to be the one standing next to you then, not keen on antlers blocking my view! it's mika's own fault, we're bored cause he doesn't tweet. did she write what country?
  5. btw, the mascot of the radio station swr3, for which mika performed in baden-baden in november, is a moose:
  6. we've talked about several themes for the german tour already on DMFC, but all in all we decided to wait until the tour starts, so we'll see what the stage set etc. is like. (edit: just seen that you edited your post to that too... ) IF mika uses blacklight again (and i really hope he does), we should make at least one gig themed white or neon. i think glow-in-the-blacklight neon colours would be fab for amsterdam. and there are whole shops for that on the internet! for germany for example http://www.schwarzlicht.de but as i said, if we want to do that, we'll have to wait whether the stage set will include blacklight. i think so, as mika once said something about all the european venues being dark, so he can use some cool light effects there - hope he meant the blacklight. but you'll never know, he says a lot in interviews... and then of course, if some have already decided on a costume for amsterdam, we could start from that with deciding on a theme. for example, other themes i could imagine for the tour would be "album booklet" (which can be anything from outer space to voodoo dolls to mubbins), or "face art" - everyone sticking stones or sequins to their faces, or face-paint.
  7. so everyone will dress up for this gig then? fab! that's a must for me anyway. any dresscode/theme? what else have i missed on the first 50 pages of this thread? didn't follow it, as i didn't think i could go... so, can someone please sum it up for me, what plans you have for the gig or generally for mfc meetups there?
  8. and a cute little moose disney movie: moooooooooose, mooooooooooose...
  9. i don't know if that info's here on the thread already, but mikey from boyzone has tweeted that the single will be released on march 1st. cool, so i can buy a copy in london in case it's not (or only much later) released in germany.
  10. yup guess so. will probably come by train (it's cheaper and i'm still fed up with flying from my US holiday, so if possible i try to avoid it ), but it's not possible to book that yet. if i find a really cheap hotel, i might be staying til sunday... but i've been to amsterdam for sightseeing 2x already, only thing i missed so far and might want to see is the van gogh museum. just google the address of the hotel and then use http://maps.google.de/ for seeing where it is?
  11. yeah i'm wondering too, how mad is the queuing gonna be in basel? i might have a free accomodation in stuttgart, so i'm wondering whether to go to basel already on march 31, or if it's enough if i arrive at the venue some time in the afternoon. was any of you at the 2007 gig in basel and can tell me what time queuing started there? i know it could be different now, but i'd like to get a general idea whether it's more like german gig queuing or more like french gig queuing...
  12. ok, added you for the gig yooligan, just talk with droopsy&katrien about who's doing what and how much.
  13. they connect to your bank, but they didn't do that for me, they connected with another german bank which of course didn't recognize my card! maybe i should just write to ticketmaster about it, if they have a good customer service they might be able to sort it out... yeah, don't think either that it'll be sold out, but just want to make sure - and not wait for the box office to open on that monday. thanx. i couldn't do that, be in a city and know mika's doing a gig just a few streets away and not be there! but well, in most cases there are chances to get last minute tickets, even if it's sold out.
  14. nope they have a new verification system on ticketmaster, which my bank obviously doesn't support. something about secure code, you have to ask your bank to activate that for your credit card, but seems like it's not supported by every bank yet... at least not in germany. so far, my credit card has always worked perfectly fine on ticketmaster, why do they have to make security so high that long-term customers aren't able to use the site anymore, that's just dumb!
  15. i'm looking for 1 ga standing ticket for the 2nd dublin date on feb 16. got my ticket for the 1st gig on mikasounds, but seems like they won't sell tix for the 2nd gig... and i can't use my credit card on ticketmaster anymore, with their new stupid verification system which my bank doesn't support! so if anyone has a spare or could buy one for me, that'd be fab.
  16. seems like the 2nd dublin gig is confirmed now, at least it's finally on mikasounds. mods, will we get a thread for it now or are you still waiting for an e-mail from them? anyway, i need a ticket for the 2nd dublin gig on the 16th... doesn't look like they'll be available on mikasounds, and obviously my credit card doesn't work on ticketmaster anymore, as they have a new system there. so if anyone could buy me a ticket for that gig, or has a spare, that'd be fab!
  17. nope, we love our addiction! but maybe they thought we could use some counselling because they received hundreds of hate mails due to the postponed gigs.
  18. i think we should concentrate on the nrj voting this week. on starflash as long as he's on the first page (ie: no.33 or better) i think it's ok. i'd suggest that we'll try to get him to no.1 there the week before the german tour starts (mid-march), and apart from that just make sure that he's not doing too bad (ie: stay on the first page), at least as long as there are other votings that are more important... i think the nrj voting runs only until this sunday, or am i wrong? so let's all get voting there as much as we can! http://nrjmusicawards.nrj.fr/votes-3373/votecategorie/?cat=6
  19. ok this is a bit random but did you know that team mika offers addiction counselling in austria? http://meinegemeinde.vol.at/news/tp:meinegemeinde:meinegemeinde/artikel/team-mika-suchtberatung-tag-der-offenen-tuer/cn/news-20100107-03200651
  20. don't know if it matters, but i think the info about the mods here in the first post is not up-to-date anymore.
  21. :biggrin2: did they take him to the dungeons before or after the postponed gig? if it was before, that would explain it all. what for? you don't actually have to GO to the gigs you bought tickets for! LMAO!!! this is hilarious, i love the way you're pulling faces and rolling your eyes while you're waiting for them to pick up, so funny! congrats on getting through!
