  1. Whenever you say this I spontaneously burst out in song: “Eraaaaaaaase my looooooove”
  2. When I read his answer about Passager I have the strong feeling he is now metabolizing this more negative feeling he used to have to a positive one. It’s like like a victory, coming to terms with yourself, making the best of your situation and embracing that part of you. I can strongly relate to the song, and now especially after this explanation. I am a citizen of the world like him, but I never felt that I belonged somewhere. However, the feeling of belonging is something you need to unlock in yourself and you make the very best of it wherever you are. I don’t concentrate anymore on what I am not, but what I can bring to the table. Maybe I’m projecting, but I think this is part of what he means.
  3. I love this song, I just love it. And I can relate to this song more than I would like to admit. Love the album already.
  4. And we were thinking it was as innocent as cocaine. NOPE OF COURSE NOT! It’s Mika!
  5. I LOOOVE “the typical Mika sound” setting in at “dis le moiiiiiiii”! I was waiting for it with all these snippets and here it is. YES!! Mika being all mushy and romantic this album. Feeling this deliciously melodic variety!! Looking very much forward to tonight. We know at this point he is posting every day and I wonder which song it will be tonight.
  6. Or he really just means coconut. Or it’s really just a metaphor for the floating feeling you may have. We will never know For some reason I don’t hold him for the cocaine kind of person. Alcohol sure (like many), but hard drugs I don’t think so.
  7. I don’t care if it’s about shaking your fesse or your banana (WAIT….), I’m obsessed with the melody. To me it’s a samba and I lose myself in the rhythm.
  8. Fun fact: those are water bottles in the bag he’s carrying he’s thirsty!
  9. I absolutely loved it in English as well. I still love to watch him perform it with Ida on YouTube.
  10. Didn’t he once say he writes all his songs in English first? With the exception being Elle Me Dit, because when he sang it for the first time “a Greek man” wondered who “Emily” was
  11. I would like to add that this way of conflict resolving may sound romantic (to run away to different countries, to then write a song about it), but is in my opinion not the healthiest way to do it
  12. This one kills me. It’s so typically “social media”: keeping up appearances. He once said in an interview that he hates what is being portrayed on social media. For him to include a lyric like that makes it so profoundly sad.
  13. RPReplay_Final1700686480.mov I screen recorded it right before it got deleted! I LOVE THE SNIPPET!!!! That’s all I have to say.
  14. I think that it was recorded, and Mika will share it himself on TikTok the next few days. Maybe that’s why the question came what songs we would like to hear and know more about?
  15. But it is like Dutch… just with a funny accent Hahaha! I am not sure which of the two is more important to him
  16. Trinity Music emailed me back and even called my friend, which was extremely nice. The wheelchairs will be elevated behind the standing places, was confirmed by email! Wheelchair tickets are automatically honoured and don’t have to be newly requested. So all is good!
  17. Been trying to contact Eventim, Tempodrom and Trinity Music to answer me some questions regarding wheelchair accessibility. I’ve read on some websites that the wheelchair places are behind the standing places, but not elevated, which massively restricts the view and doesn’t make any sense. So I wanted to make sure my friend will have good view. Eventim doesn’t know, Tempodrom itself was INCREDIBLY unfriendly and didn’t let me finish my sentences (imagine, I talk fast!), told me to call Trinity Music and they are not picking up. Sent Trinity Music an email and will update.
  18. The only word he really needs to add to his vocabulary is “Uitverkocht” (sold out), because that’s what the gig is in Amsterdam!!!
  19. I was not aware that Pierre also speaks Dutch next to French. I do know that he is Belgian and the country has two official languages (Dutch and French), but not everyone is bilingual. Happy to hear some Dutch although you hardly hear Pierre, but he asks Mika in Dutch if he speaks Dutch and Mika looks at him and says bewildered “NO!”
  20. Well. He does make deliciously melodic songs, so it seems to fit the narrative
