  1. It‘s the Duracell Bunny in him. Oh and espresso. Wasn’t this show called Double Espresso?
  2. As I’m currently learning French, I can say it’s common. The “ne” in phrases in like “je ne sais pas” will be often omitted. Spoken French will actually make it “shuh pas”. Und to make “je suis” the fonetical “sh’swee” is also common.
  3. I agree with Prisca. It’s also great, because they handle everything for you and you just get an email when your ticket is sold! Of course price is fixed, they ask more administrative costs which will be paid by the buyer, not you (the seller). But all in all I don’t think you lose more than a few euros, if any at all. Also, people will trust Fansale much more than buying from a stranger. So it’s win-win.
  4. Obviously, MF stands for Mother F***ers! Isn’t that how he lovingly calls us? Actually, someone asked yesterday what MF stands for; apparently Mika said “Mes Fans”
  5. AMAZING NEWS!! So happy for the fans in Asia and North America!!!! And more continents to come I’m sure
  6. I wonder if he sings it as the “pirate” or the “treasure”. I think both can be applicable - to anyone, not just him.
  7. Whenever you say this I spontaneously burst out in song: “Eraaaaaaaase my looooooove”
  8. When I read his answer about Passager I have the strong feeling he is now metabolizing this more negative feeling he used to have to a positive one. It’s like like a victory, coming to terms with yourself, making the best of your situation and embracing that part of you. I can strongly relate to the song, and now especially after this explanation. I am a citizen of the world like him, but I never felt that I belonged somewhere. However, the feeling of belonging is something you need to unlock in yourself and you make the very best of it wherever you are. I don’t concentrate anymore on what I am not, but what I can bring to the table. Maybe I’m projecting, but I think this is part of what he means.
  9. I love this song, I just love it. And I can relate to this song more than I would like to admit. Love the album already.
  10. And we were thinking it was as innocent as cocaine. NOPE OF COURSE NOT! It’s Mika!
  11. I LOOOVE “the typical Mika sound” setting in at “dis le moiiiiiiii”! I was waiting for it with all these snippets and here it is. YES!! Mika being all mushy and romantic this album. Feeling this deliciously melodic variety!! Looking very much forward to tonight. We know at this point he is posting every day and I wonder which song it will be tonight.
  12. Or he really just means coconut. Or it’s really just a metaphor for the floating feeling you may have. We will never know For some reason I don’t hold him for the cocaine kind of person. Alcohol sure (like many), but hard drugs I don’t think so.
  13. I don’t care if it’s about shaking your fesse or your banana (WAIT….), I’m obsessed with the melody. To me it’s a samba and I lose myself in the rhythm.
  14. Fun fact: those are water bottles in the bag he’s carrying he’s thirsty!
  15. I absolutely loved it in English as well. I still love to watch him perform it with Ida on YouTube.
  16. Didn’t he once say he writes all his songs in English first? With the exception being Elle Me Dit, because when he sang it for the first time “a Greek man” wondered who “Emily” was
  17. I would like to add that this way of conflict resolving may sound romantic (to run away to different countries, to then write a song about it), but is in my opinion not the healthiest way to do it
  18. This one kills me. It’s so typically “social media”: keeping up appearances. He once said in an interview that he hates what is being portrayed on social media. For him to include a lyric like that makes it so profoundly sad.
