Has anyone got Everclear - Wonderful?

That song is about me so exactly that it's scary.

(Jeez, I just listened to that a bit to make sure it was the right song and ... :crybaby:)

I've put my poor internet connection into overload by opening 30 youtubes at once, so I'm still waiting for all your songs to load :bleh:

This one by Ayumi Hamasaki:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRz9QuKHjDM I love this one because the lyrics suit me:

The old wound left on me

Begins to ache

I hide my trembling heart again

And pretend to smile

Even in my age now, I'm the same as before

As timid as before

I only learn how to pretend to be strong

Though my heart is filled with feelings to convey

You see, I can't change them into words well

If I had not met you

I wouldn't even have such an embarrassing pain

Little by little, I've come to realize

That my past never heals

And that it's no use

Fearing the future I can't refuse

How much more courage do I need

To say with my head held high

"This is the only important thing to me" ?

(*) Though I have firm feelings

You see, I can't change them into words as usual

Everyone is living this way

With feelings they can't express

Though my heart is filled with feelings to convey

You see, I can't change them into words well

If I had not met you

I wouldn't even have such an embarrassing pain and ...

(*) repeat

I also love this one because I'm a major Phantom fan:naughty:

Well I can't possibly not mention Mika and the one of his that makes ME cry is OVERRATED (especially this part)

" Can't you see my life

As something more,

And paint me

In a color

That You swear you've never seen before"

I also adore the line in my sig

"I feel as if I'm bleeding from a thousand miles away"

...I mean you can just FEEL that line so much.

that part gives me goosebumps it speaks volumes to me.

I also like The Closest Thing To Crazy ~ Katie Melua

beautiful lyrics that I can feel.

This one of course by Sinhead O connor is hauntingly beautiful too.

There are many beautiful songs out there that hold special meaning to me and then there are those that can bring tears to my eyes, and I love that they can reach inside of me and grab my emotional strings.

Sometimes I will end up liking a song I wasn't so keen on at first purely because of the lyrics, when it's got the whole thing going on then it's perfect of course.

Enrique Iglesias - Hero

That song gets me every time :tears:

I remember that song. It was the song and the video combined that really got me.

Also, Kelly Clarkson's video to "Because of You" made me cry. At the time I couldn't what the feck she was saying but the video really moved me.

Both of these, plus Christina Aguilara - Hurt. When it came out I was going through a hard time with my dad and now I cannot watch the video or listen to the song with tearing-up. So I change channels if its on TV or leave the room if its on the radio.

I cried at Katy Perry - Lost the other day, but I think that was partially because I was on the verge of crying anyway.

I am not particularly sensitive, I don't cry on any particular songs but there are a lot that tough me, like

Rufus Wainwright's version of Hallelujah or

Phil Collins: Against All Odds ...etc..

However, I can make myself cry if I do the following:

Listen to 'Q'+ PR: Teo Torriate live in Japan:

..it is sad already... but then if you listen to Freddie's version 25years before, you understand from the difference what the world is missing...

:tears:

I see what you mean, and that guy's voice just doesn't cut it when it comes to Freddie, but then he is irriplacable, but i guess people do still like to sing Queen songs. I love that song too, though this one always makes me feel so so sad but it's obvious it would do.

I have to agree with Sparkly on "Nothing Compares to you" I sing it full volume with tears rolling down my cheeks, it's the only way.

Mum my crys her eyes out to James Blunt's "You're Beautiful" because it played by my bedside in intensive care.

My boyfriend has a song (can't remember what it is right now) thta makes himcry because it was playing when they found out I could come off life support and there didn't seem to be any brain damage.

It's scary how powerful music can be.

That song gets me every time :tears:

I know. It was played at my aunty's wedding, when she was terminally ill with cancer, so it kind of makes me really sad because i miss her, but it also makes me smile because she was so happy on her wedding day.

Being a Celine fan, its gotta be My heart will go on, it's just so powerful.

When you listen to Overrated is like Mika is feeling the song and it in a way so sad... and Your Sympathy too... both songs are really special

Mika is a complete artist... he can write and sing songs like Lollipop and Love Today and then other kind of sings like Any Other World. JUST AMAZING

I totally agree with you. "Because of you" made me cry before I saw the video, but it made me cry even more when I saw it. This is basically because that's how my life is right now. Other songs that make me cry is Christina Aguilera's "I'm OK".

"Any other world" is the Mika song that make me cry, because I totally get what it is about.

'Because of you' is a great song with spot on lyrics and Kelly Clarkson's performance, together with the video makes it all authentic.:thumb_yello:

(PS:I think Kelly Clarkson is much more credicle than any other pop idol / Xfactor winners, though I don't know much about her...)

It's funny, I was trying to think of some more songs that make me cry, but there really aren't that many. I used to cry all the time because I was lonely and music comforted me a lot of the time. But now I have my boyfriend and I never cry about those things anymore....so I guess music is just fun to me nowadays. :)

"I'm Okay" made me cry when I first heard it, likewise with "The Voice Within"

Now dont laugh when I say this, but several years ago I bought a Pokémon CD and it has a song on there titled "If only tears could bring you back" and it really made me sob.

wow, there are so many. and they're exchanging each other all the time.

right now, for some long time, shadow of the day by LP KHbmtb22s8k really moves me. and there are two more, one is a sort of a classic song, the kind that you've all heard by 100% a long time ago and just don't know by name, and this is A THING ABOUT YOU - ROXETTE WviZJhqXoOc

the last one is by an Israeli singer (a US single and in english, though) so i don't expect you to know it hehe

have a listen if you like :thumb_yello: t7oGUIsNqSA

These songs didn't really make me cry because I don't cry very easily. But they did make me feel very sad or cause my eyes to water.

Queen - 'Who Wants To Live Forever' (Especially the performance at Wembley 1986 as well as Freddie's little speech before hand).

Queen - 'The Show Must Go On'

John Lennon - 'Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)' (The line "I can hardly wait to see you come of age" gets me everytime because, of course, he didn't).

Christina Aguilera - 'Hurt'.

Songs about the relationship between a child and their parent really get to me.
