I'M ADMITTING THIS IS WAY? OFF TOPIC :ot:

but I have a vision that MIKA will, one day, play this place:

MUSIC CENTER AT STRATHMORE (NORTH BETHESDA, MARYLAND)

http://www.strathmore.org/facilityrentals/musiccenter.asp

AT THE RIGHT OF THIS PAGE UNDER "ADDITIONAL INFORMATION"

Select: "View Photo Alum of the Music Center at Strathmore" to see

what the place looks like. Ofcourse, it's in my neck of the woods,

but I SO see MIKA performing there!

CLOSER TO TOPIC--

A guy named David Burger, Salt Lake City Tribune, wrote this about Mika . . .

* http://www.sltrib.com/ci_8199117

for the SLC performance.

It is very easy to give him feedback because his e-mail

is provided: It's livingeditor@slctrib.com.

He's a bit off on Mikas age, but it's a nice piece.

There just might be a F-U piece in their Sunday issue!

This place-STRATHMORE--is NOT "a HOLE."

I'm holding the phone up to the computer! Can't you hear??? :naughty:

It's Everybody's Talking! *dies*

dcdeb

O.M.G. He did Everybody's Talking.

And I'm only on page 6 yet, and this thread is 22 pages long...

See? I told you this was going to be the best set of the tour... Lucky Charlotte and everyone who was there!

(Deb! You had an awesome treat! So sweet of Charlotte!)

True, Kath and I are the only central europeans left, right?

6:30AM here, it's insane :naughty: :naughty: WHERE ARE THE REPORTS?? :naughty:

Hehe, it's not insane, YOU are insane! Can't believe how many Europeans stayed up until early in the morning! Oh well, I went to bed at 4 myself. :naughty:

But hey, I noticed it was worth staying up! :naughty:

Blimey!

Just sat here an read 22 pages straight, never done that before, but Deb and Charlys phone conversations kept me glued.

Great reports from Jen and Hilary, sounds like you guys had a blast, acoustic sets are amazing.

Nice to hear his hair was natural, although I love the curls, Mikas has the kind of hair that looks good either way

And he did Everybody's Talking, hasn't done that in a while, but it is best suited for acoustic.

Sounds like he didn't stay long after, thought he might, but there you go.

Jen, your husband getting the pic of your little girl was inspired, that's a keeper for sure.

Oh how I love that stage! With the lights and the chairs and the goodies like the hand! :wub2: And Mika looks so eh... natural! :naughty:

Thanks so much to all of you who posted their reports! That really was a very unique experience...

About the refund: I can see why they did that but man... I would have payed extra myself to fill up one of the empty spaces in the crowd! :naughty:

Can't wait for more reports and all the pics and videos! Nice pic of Charlie with Luke and Mikey (the hat suits him)! :thumb_yello:

What a unique gig, I think the people who went to this were very lucky; Mika doing a small semi acoustic gig is not going to happen too often any more.

Thanks for the reports, and I hope there'll be a bit of video somewhere eventually, I'd love to see that.

Well, I couldn't sleep so I am back for a minute! Thanks for putting those pics up Dani. It was so good to see it all again. And A.Clay - thanks for this article! It was a pretty good one. I have to ask --what is an F-U piece?
