De Libanees-Britse zanger Mika geeft 8 juli een concert in het Westerpark in Amsterdam.

Het openluchtconcert maakt onderdeel uit van de serie concerten die Mojo Concerts deze zomer voor de tweede keer organiseert in Cultuurpark Westergasfabriek onder de naam Live at Westerpark. pixel.gif

Dat meldde een woordvoerster woensdag. De kaartverkoop voor het concert begint zaterdag. Andere concerten in de Westerpark-reeks zijn, voor zover nu bekend, Radiohead en R.E.M.

Just buy a ticket Linde. You can fight with your parents later. It would suck if you fight with them and they finally let you go only to find out it's sold out.

 

If the worst happens, they won't let you go and you'll have to sell your ticket.

Part of the 'Live at Westerpark' concert series. Radiohead and R.E.M. are coming in the previous week, Radiohead is sold out yet.

I don't know but this is not a festival, this is a regular concert that's held at a park instead of a venue... but it's still a full show!

It seems like something similar to the Somerset House concerts in London. It's not a festival, the concerts are 'proper' open air concerts by one artist/band at a time. So I guess the chance of cancellation is quite small.
