Not sure about the middle ones - they may be pontefract cakes! but the bottom one are little pellets of liquorice - they are really good if you have a cold - as well as any other time!! Middle ones are indeed Pontefract cakes - which are liquorice, and the very tiny black sweets are menthol and liquorice - hot so you only need one (and some people get addicted to them).
