a2vih0.jpg

why do I almost prefer this version?!?

edit: mmm no wait Mika's Erase wins...

but lately I found very difficoult to hear his recordings more than once:teehee:

more important: WTF who why when where gave to a megalomaniac boy from an hydeous let's kill.each.other.for.a.musical tv program called Amici that beautiful track?!

why mika is always somewhat connected to ppl I can't stand?!? :aah:

Wow. Really interesting find, Alice. I'm not a fan of the song, but it's

not quite as awful in Italian. :teehee:

Interesting how the Italian lyrics talk about sending a *written* message

rather than a phone message, but it's essentially the same story...

Really interesting indeed. Thanks. :thumb_yello:

Dunno i wonder if mika knows about it ?! or maybe he gave it away to this guy ?!

I doubt that Mika "gave it away" -- I'm sure the rights to it were sold,

and I would imagine that Mika does know about it. It's funny though, when

you look on iTunes it says that this EP of Valerio Scanu's is made up

of songs written for him by *Italian* songwriters. :naughty:

I meant to say, too, did everyone see Mika's quote about Erase in that recent Spanish

article? Where he said he didn't perform the song because he didn't like it? I suspected

that all along!

"EP3: Sometimes, sticky mellodies are too direct & innocuous, addictive, but at the fifth heard they´re unbearable. Have you felt bored of songs you wrote?

M: Yes, there are some i never published. There´s one, Erase, only released in United States. I didn´t allow any other publishing anywhere. I hate it. It´s awful. Sticky, but with nothing behind"

I love "Erase"! I loved it right from the start! For me the music and the lyrics give a perfect definition of what passion is: "We never had time to go to sleep, we'd wake up tangled in the sheets on a bed that we called home." I've written French lyrics for it, not a translation but inspired by the original song and my one and only passionate love story.

Wow this is so much better than Erase. :lmfao:

Mika doesn't have the grit in his voice to pull off a soft rock ballad and the English lyrics are really lame.

This guy should try an English version...maybe translated back from the Italian one.

I'd not recommend such a meaningless aberration...

English is easier to songwrite anyday :teehee:
