Gyaah, sorry about the double post, I was trying to make the thumbnails clickable, and it was 1.30am, and I was literally seeing double:boxed: Too many tabs open.

Oh I just remembered this show was the last time you will see that particular jacket of his, with the check and stripes...after Relax, he stripped it off and threw it into the crowd, a guy posted on the Japanese forum that he was the lucky one who got it. I felt it was sort of symbolic...definitely the LAST show of the tour.

 

Anyway, so the BGs. They were great and I just knew that for all three of them, it took a LOT of courage to be up there, I really felt like they were MY girls.

 

Stuck in the middle: I totally loved the start, with Sunshine and Mika on the pianos, iMMa's dancing and the trumpet solo was quite unreal! I remember reading a report in Asia about how there was a trumpet player on stage, and it was clearly just that the person couldn't tell that it was actually Mika, not a real trumpet, but witnessing the amazing trumpet solo for myself was fab, and everyone cheered wildly.

 

I just found I had not uploaded that video, it is very short, so here it is:

 

 

Dr John, there was a moment there, he opened the suitcase, and even though the music had started he was still looking in the case, and we MFCers all said "HE FORGOT THE HAT!", so he started to sing without it, and someone brought it in from the side of the stage. It is a much better song with the hat. And the crowd really didn't know anything except the words "OH DR JOHN"....so those bits were the best, we all sang along.

 

 

Blue Eyes

I turned off my camera to sing along with this one...loved it!

 

Touches You: well I TOTALLY loved the lighting and dancing in that, super dramatic, and I was just completely in heaven hearing that song live. I could have died right then, total bliss. So I had to turn on the camera on again! And the funniest thing was, I could have sworn Mika came over to our side a little more on that song....and thinking about it, he probably does it every time, looks for the pockets of fangurls, gives them their moment. I took some nice screen caps of that.

 

But then it got even better, when he sat at the piano and made some funny comments about having a Japanese song stuck in his head. He has mentioned this song in interviews before and he sang a line and the whole crowd picked up the cue and sang the rest to him. Ash!ta ga aru is the name of the song...everyone knows it...

 

He said he had never been sung to by the audience like that before...oh I am not so sure that is true Mika, but the singalong was fun anyway. And then straight after...he started Pick up off the floor.

 

Can you believe it, this was sung in TOTAL SILENCE. It was amaaaaaaazing. Everyone listened to every note. My heart was singing, but I didn't dare let a sound out of my mouth, nothing to detract from the special moment there. Just perfect.

 

 

Then he picked up the tempo again and off he launched into One foot boy...I couldn't help but think of that interview in Australia with Olivia when he was talking to her all about his imaginary friend...

I loved the interaction with iMMa on this song, she is just so cute!

 

Next out came Dumbledora from the suitcase. He spoke really good Japanese at this point, enough to make us all think he has been studying it since 2007. It was really funny, he had the words just right.

Luckily some girls who are actually members of MFC (where are they now? Where are their reports?) saw him inside...I guess I saw them after at the car outside, though I don't know if they spoke to me....

Seems like she caught it when he threw it afer Relax in Tokyo. Although I understood it was a guy who caught it, so maybe he let his GF wear it. Hope Mika didn't want it back:aah:

Thanks to everyone who came to my Studio Coast show! It was such an exciting experience for me! I also want to thank Hikaru for joining me to sing " Let it snow " , I am such a big fan, it was an honor to sing with her.

I will be returning to Japan soon so those of you who couldn`t make it this time, I`ll see you then!! Oh! I really enjoyed Tokyo! I wish I could have stayed longer. Please tell me more about Japan, share with me the fun shop to go visit etc...! Arigato & Sayonara!

haha I am the one of them who went to Tower records in Shibuya on Dec. 1st:teehee: But am not good at writing reports... Anyways here it is.

 

I arrived there a bit before 1pm. (They informed Mika would show up around 2pm) There were already about 10-20 fans waiting for Mika (less than I thought) around the Mika section. I was kind of expecting that he might sing! but nahhh, he just walked to the section, wrote his autograph on the board and then left.

 

He showed up at 2pm and was gone by 2:05. So it was a very quick arrival. By the time he arrived there were like 100 people (not that many?) and as soon as he walked in, of course people began to scream and call out his name... and you know, a lot of pushing also. Because some of them pushed so hard, the staff was shouting "Don't push! The artist could get injured." or something like that.

 

I was standing at the opposit side from where he came out, so I couldn't approach him so close or couldn't get his autograph or anything but still enjoyed the moment very much!!
