Gonna buy some tix tomorrowwwww. :aah:

Just to be clear, what IS the capacity of this venue? I heard 700 but I can't find anything on google and that seems ridiculously tiny...and too good to be true...

It is not a venue, it is a big square in the middle of the city.

Maybe 700 is the number of seating places (tribunes). A square should contain for sure more than 1.000, 2.000 people.

Is the lasagne ready?:mf_rosetinted:

Hey... considering your tendency to go half naked at gigs... remember that in this place you can!!!

It is summer, in a city for holydays, near the sea :surfing:

Was looking at the trains from Bologna, and onthe Lonely Planet site it said they were quite cheap, and it's got a direct line to Cattolica.

yes because there are just 130 kilometres from Bologna to Cattolica.

Anyway be carefull not spend too much, it is not a beautiful venue like Villa Manin in Udine, and adriatic coast cities in August are a mess.

I did that route a few times when I studied in Italy, (I was a little further south on the train) it's very easy and cheap, the trains go quite often.

It's on Rimini news!

http://www.newsrimini.it/news/2010/giugno/05/cattolica/la_popstar_mika_all_arena_della_regina_il_19_agosto.html

If foreign people need a translation just ask!

But it's only a confirmation ;)

This is what interest us:

19 agosto evento clou con Mika, popstar internazionale, autore di numerose hit al vertice delle classifiche.

19h August clou event with Mika, international popstar, author of many hits on the top of the charts

They said they wanna do exciting show in Cattolica, but want to take care of people who live there esigneze and theyr needs.

Maybe they don't know how much we can be noisy in Mika's gig LOL!
