tiibet Posted August 7, 2011 Share Posted August 7, 2011 (edited) Back home Had a great trip. I'm not sure how many reports you already got? Someone must have mentioned that Martin was not there, and because the guitarist played with the band for the first time they did a loooong soundcheck and we were allowed to watch and it was one the coolest things ever. We don't see him that often on stage looking casual, in jeans and unshaved thinking the technical things. He did many, many songs so it was almost like we got two gigs. He seemed to be in a good mood so we started to really look forward to the show in the evening. And it was maybe the funniest show this year, he was in a relaxed mood, joking with the band I took pictures but most of them are silly, I will try to find something to upload. He really did Elle me dit in English, he was singing it during the soundcheck so we had some hopes for it. I filmed it, I will check it after this and upload if I really have it (I hope so!). The audience loved him, it was a good show. And the new guitarist did really well! He even looked very relaxed when Mika was next to him. Poor Ben is freaking out every time Mika goes near him, but he is trying really hard, I already like him a lot. iMMa was awesome again! It was raining a lot after the show, he stopped his car and did m&g (it was almost organized, no one was mopping him, we were standing behind the barriers and he was very sweet. I traveled with the German girls, and we met some French, Italian and Spanish fans at the venue and more people from France, Belgium and Switzerland (for example) came after the gates were already opened.
