My aunt sadly passed away with cancer and I just got made redundant from my job. On top of all this, the restrictions are really getting to me. I spent a lot of time with my niece and nephew when they were little. Sadly they're very occupied with school stuff now.. and I'm always busy, too. I'm actually feeling well. The restrictions here in Germany don't affect me cos I've never been a party person or whatever. I have only some good friends I used to spent time with, but they're like me and prefer to be careful at the moment. I'll be an aunt for the first time as well by the end of the year! Update: My fiance and I pushed out wedding back until next year, because we want to celebrate safely and in a way that we always envisioned our wedding would be. We also bought a house in South Carolina and moved in recently. I'm really living in the deep American south here, so it's never a dull moment. Life has been crazy lately and I keep reflecting on the years that have passed because I've never felt more like an adult than I do now. Better be safe Meanwhile life is just going on as usual here, staying home as much as I can I'm very grateful I have a job where I can work outside. I have two - a niece and a nephew and I love them just so much. For me also nothing has changed so far. I work from home and went on studying for my 2nd state exam in law. So I can say I'm quite busy and actually happy that I don't have any appointments to make! I'm enjoying this so far and was so glad that I got the job, having been made redundant from my last one in November. Things are still difficult here in the UK, but we're making progress.
