    How fantastic it is that we have MFC:wub2:....that other fans are generous enough to share this special invitation-only gig with us....videos, photos, reports...I mean, none of you needed to disclose you were even there, none of you were obliged to share these special versions of the songs, or the snippets of conversation that you had with Mika or anyone else. This was not an ordinary gig, this was not an ordinary M&G. This was not a queue up in the cold, wonder if you get front row, battle to see over other people, get pushed around and jumped on, every-day Mika gig. This was a special once-off gig to thank YOU for supporting Mika. So I just want to thank all of you who posted pics/vids/reports for doing something so generous for other fans. None of us could have expected to hear this much about it, and every one of us was dying to be there too.

    Well I did exactly that many years ago, and lots of friends came on the JET program. I would have to say it is really the best program around, and far more reliable than just flying over and hoping to get a job at any old English school, there have been lots of stories of the smaller schools going broke, visa problems with their teachers etc etc. You can PM me and talk more if you want.

    Are we showing our age?? I have vinyl records of Velvet Underground, Lou Reed, Harry Nilsson (my first record ever) Roxy Music, David Bowie, Joy Division, XTC, Queen, Adam Ant...and hundreds more...quite diverse tastes over the years:blush-anim-cl: OK I will be quiet now too.

    Interesting interview. He seems to have been more relaxed, perhaps, end of the tour and all that? Third album sounds like a treat...one that we will be waiting for till at least 2012 I imagine. Is there a link to the actual article online, or a scan of the original article?

    Thank you all for so many videos, pics, reports of Wika and Mika:thumb_yello: I am 100% sure what Christine says many pages back is right. Eventually, Mika will not provide fans with these opportunities if people continue to be "caught up in the moment" and ask and ask and ask for things to be signed/photos/or some other piece of Mika pie. The risk is small for one fan to do it repeatedly, but with many same fans doing it over and over (and they DO remember you), it risks losing this pleasant access for the larger fan base. I hope he might prepare something for us to tide us over the long Mika-drought we are facing, as someone said he told them (can't find the quotes now) And it was funny to hear him saying he is bored now he is not touring. Welcome to PMD Mika...post Mika depression for Mika, when he reverts back to his usual life:aah: We know it well. Doesn't make it any easier when it hits though, you have just got to keep yourself busy to take your mind off it.

    And I remember thinking later that 2 people had flown from Canada and one from the UK, which is probably much further than me from Australia, and he didn't mention them:aah:. He must have it in his head that Australia is the ends of the earth. (it is:teehee:)
