1. What are they going on about - he already wrote a Boy band song for Boyzone:aah:
2. Yup me three! That is exactly what I thought when I first heard the words of that song. I'm actually really pleased that Mika says basically that he knows his biggest fans will all be accepting of him when he says his partner is a man. Because we have always said that. He seems so much more comfortable with life in his interviews. I would hazard a guess and say that he and his partner must be very happy and content with their lives if he has become willing to mention him openly. I think it's just lovely:wub2:
3. Julia what an AWESOME story. I think just being so close to Roger Taylor would have satisfied me, but you shook hands with Brian! I think Rufus Taylor is about the same age as my son, so I am not surprised he was overwhelmed with the attention. What a lucky experience for you.
4. I loved the videos of this show, but for me, the Roger Taylor diehard fan, I TOTALLY loved the fact he played drums with his son Rufus Tiger. Rufus is an incredible drummer too. I might have to go and fangirl on some Rufus page somewhere:wub2:
5. You may be thinking of Sam Smith who he used for the Parc des Princes gig. It doesn't look like her...
6. Nina's video (she's at the airport!) Thanks Nina it's a great video.
7. Great to see reports and photos - what a pity the set was so short, especially if you paid so much to travel so far... makes me wonder about going to festivals... Interesting to hear about the new band, new songs and new hair, and very glad to see he didn't wear those awful short golf trews...
8. Yes that was funny. Hope he actually listened to the song:blink: Japanese forums reaction: ZERO. No comment on the links at all. Though that could be because it was ME posting, I'm not their favourite person.
9. My favourite bit is when he sings Never ever ever that is the Mika voice and passion that still makes me And I really like the chaotic Scissor sister bit at the end Never gonna give you up.... I can just hear the crowd doing that bit live....
10. We old fangurls are back in action:aah: I can't get any more work done today - better go to bed.
11. I like this change of sound. Glad he's back with something new. Though that video may not be up for long....it's still great to have a teaser of the album. Thanks to Robi for tweeting it, but also big thanks to laymay kang for first posting on here
12. Bec!! *waves* Haven't seen you round here for YONKS! I do see you on twitter sometimes though:wink2: Hope the job search sorts itself out soon for you. teaching jobs? I saw on the web yesterday that RACV is offering discount entry to the Melb Aquarium. I might go on the weekend, as I have friends from Japan over.
13. I might be shot down in flames for saying this, but in my mind, when Londoners haven't had a Mika gig in a LOOOOOONG time in my opinion, I'd like to see the UK fans take front row. For a change.
14. So I guess every man and his dog will be flying into London for this then?
15. I have to say watching it on livestream this morning (my time) was just like the "old days" when I used to sit on MFC day and night for these types of things. Oh goodness, the is still in me, it just needs a good performance of the songs to bring it back out - no need for costumes and props, it's the MUSIC and the singing I so much. And the other thing is, it's so nice to see him so appreciated by an audience in a country he really hasn't performed in that much. All in all a great performance. Now, where are those MFcers, not yet morning for them, I want to hear their reports.
16. This could be very tedious until we see what we want to see:boxed:
17. Oooo Karla, I am so glad you get to travel to see Mika somewhere, because he really hasn't played much in the US. Great that you have seen 2 shows in LA so far, so you know how fun a show can be. Which shows did you see? The one where he hurt his foot? Australia is nice, I recommend a trip here! Well of course we don't know yet which countries he is going to tour, but WOW! What a great opportunity, your daughter must be over the moon too!
18. Notice the little counter in the first post <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess="always" height="230" width="150" align="middle" data="http://www.justgiving.com/widgets/jgwidget.swf" flashvars="EggId=3705665&IsMS=0"><param name="movie" value="http://www.justgiving.com/widgets/jgwidget.swf" /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /><param name="allowNetworking" value="all" /><param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /><param name="flashvars" value="EggId=3705665&IsMS=0" /></object> On our way to 5000! Well done MFC - you are amazing!
19. Well done Kath, wonder where the source material came from:teehee: It's a great idea to self-publish. Maybe there will be more aspiring writers on MFC following in your footsteps...?
20. Sounds amazing Noriko!! Wish I could be there to enjoy them, but we will have to watch on ustream. Thanks for the link:thumb_yello:
21. This is actually MY VIDEO that someone else has ripped off and reposted. :sneaky2: MUCH better is my original
