yeah that's right, AND they have to look at that pic with his cute smile, how can anyone resist that for long?! well ok i guess he's just too old for some of them to consider him as goodlooking. but we do indeed get voting support from some who aren't on mfc/dmfc, i've read some comments in the shoutbox like "i'll help voting for mika, think he's quite likeable". so i agree about the buzz, but i still wouldn't want mika to drop out of the top 20. :rolls_eyes: so let's keep on voting. yes! and nice to see a post from you on here, another dmfc member on mfc! for a start, you can open your own thread in the introduction board, you don't have to read through all the thousands of mfc pages first.

think the name of the hostel has been posted somewhere in this thread already anyway. don't remember it though. there are a lot of hostels in that area, i'm staying at a different one than the one i've read about here in this thread, it is a bit more expensive but i liked the pictures and reviews a lot more than for the other one. especially in the other one, they don't have lockers and there seem to be security issues, with stuff getting stolen from the baggage room etc., that's why i decided for a different hostel. but it's all very close to each other in this area and in walking distance from the venue, so i hope we can all meet up anyway. seem to be a lot of pubs in this area as well.

yes. and the new no.1, sarah connor, is one of the worst singers ever imo. i don't mind if MJ is before mika, and also all the teenie stars are ok, like the twilight or potter stars - after all, it's a teenie magazine. but sarah connor?! this is really weird. obviously she has a very active online fan community, who managed to get her from somewhere in the back of the list to the no.1 spot within just one day!

what, want some spider pix again? imo it's different this time, i didn't think we'd get a tweet from him during his holiday, so i don't feel the need to oooommmm until january. album preview vlog? i don't know anything about that, but weren't there supposed to be vlogs from the asian tour?

i've also heard from other people, that tbwktm is a good album, but that it misses a mega-hit like GK. and while there are several songs on tbwktm that i like more than GK, i agree that WAG can't keep up with it. that song even had to grow on many of us before we liked it - and most people won't bother listening to it so often. i like WAG because of the message, because of the boxershorts video and because at the live shows it's fab when everyone screams "we are golden!". but most non-fans - especially in non-english-speaking-countries - won't understand the message, or listen closely enough to notice it. maybe not everyone will love watching him dance around in his underwear. and at live shows, mika indeed convinces people, but they first have to buy tickets for the shows! and i think WAG isn't a good choice for tv-performances... you don't realize it when you're in the audience at a show, but when you watch it on tv, it sounds strangely out of tune during "running around again" (i noticed again at that belgian tv show) - obviously it's supposed to sound like that, but it does sound strange imo. so it's not a surprise to me that WAG didn't do as well as GK - mika said himself in one of the interviews, that you can't plan to write a song like GK, it just happens. still i like tbwktm more than licm. but maybe many people bought licm just because they liked that one song, who knows. or because more people in europe got to see him live back then (as i said and as we all know, his live shows are very convincing...). so all we can do is hope that sales go up again during the tour, and that one of the future singles from the album will get people hooked like GK did. if it was up to me to decide, i'd try with "touches you" - but well, opinions differ about this song as well, so no idea really... i'm glad i'm not the one who has to decide!

i'm worried bout his foot again now. but i'm starting to see the whole picture... 2 months ago i thought it wouldn't matter, that his music would sell no matter what he did - but looking at the album sales now, he just couldn't afford to rest his foot like it would've been necessary. and now it's deformed and in the worst case will cause him pain & trouble for the rest of his life. i really really hope that's not the case and that all it does is look a bit strange, without causing him any problems. *tries to think positive*

it's still good though... marmite! when ppl think mika is important enough now to vote against him, it means we have moved something! it was clear that they wouldn't let him get to the top without negative votes, look at how many negative votes those in the top spots have! edit: well and it's michael jackson who is no. 7 now, the reason why mika dropped to no.8 - tbh, i can live with that, apart from mika he's the best in the top10!

well they did manage to refund me my shipping costs for berlin, when they put the tickets at the box office instead of sending them out. to me it's not a question IF but WHEN they'll be able to deal with it...
