On Sunday Patriarch Pavle, spiritual leader of Serbian Orthodox Church (I belong there) has died. He was 95, apparently the oldest among all living patriarchs. Today was his funeral, service was held in front of the biggest Serbian temple by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople and Metropolitan Amfilohije (he's from our church) in front of more than half million people. Of course and unfortunately I couldn't see anything so I was just listening, but it was one of the most special and unique services I ever attended...whole atmosphere was truly extraordinary. I was baptised last year and I'm roud to say I walk by faith (not religion!) We don't post here much, I'm Baptist too. I was baptized December 10, 2008.. I'm a little Non-Denaminational though.. My life was going from bad to worse Then god came into my life and i have just changed in such a big way. He told me what he wants me to do in the next 5 years which i am cool about. Protestant, yet, Catholic.. I've been to his church though, it's diffrent from Baptist, but They are worshipping God. Y'know, they actually started a pole dancing class in Upstate South Carolina.. but they're pole dancing for Jesus and if you bring your church bulletin, you get in for free I go to a Baptist church.. but I'm not Baptist.. they're are some Baptist beliefs I question, like not observing Communion every week is odd for me, since the Bible says, "Do this in remembrance of me", but I don't know, I guess I'll look further in to it when I am old enough to choose for myself...
