We all had to wear these identical bright blue t-shirts, and I was wearing purple jeans - it clashed horribly. Some funny things that happened that I will attempt to relay... We had just finished playing this game where you have to run out and swap spots if something that gets called out applies to you, and the person was doing the 'debrief' sort of part, explaining the significance kind of thing and says "So what did you have to do before you ran out?" and the nerdy/funny anatomy lecturer standing near me in the circle says sort of quietly "Contract your semi-membranosis muscle!" - which sent a wave of laughter around our little section of the circle, but actually murdered this lady who was left with that gasping-for-breath type of laughter for the next ten minutes through the whole 'debrief', and we were of course pissing ourselves at her level of laughter. Then later on anatomy-guy is giving a little lecture thing and says "Yeah, you should start thinking now about how you want to specialise when you graduate, I decided in 2nd year that I wanted to be an anatomy lecturer, and look at me now - I'm living the dream!" ... the way he said it ... it was priceless. Probably had to be there. Also, the whole thing was sponsered by Hills, so everyone had to say "Thanks to Hills" continuously. And the same nerdy-anatomy-guy chose a themesong which he played/danced/sung enthusiastically to whenever he had the chance ... "we're all in this together"... I had actually heard the rumours and hints about it for a while now so it wasn't all that surprising... not that all the rumours in the Harry Potter world comes true... ANYHOW, I'm fretting over the cutting point too... Was thinking maybe it could be at Godric's Hollow, the "silver Doe" (or the silver Tegan as Tegan means doe like features in welsh) or even at Malfoy Manor... I think maybe there as that has a good climatic ending... though it would be murder if they did... I mean ending the first part there??? ARGH!!! Jinkies, they have definitely given everyone a lot to think about!!! Yep, this crazy Harry Potter fan heard. I think it has its positives and negatives. That's what most people are thinking. Somewhere around the point where Harry sees the silver doe and Ron returns. I have seriously neglected my HP fangirl duties. I basically have abandoned HP since DH came out. The last time I was on the LC was a few days before it came out, because I didn't want to be spoiled by that ebook. Hmm, yes, when they get to Shell Cottage would be a good one too. That's a pretty good conclusion, and then a break for a while before they start up again... I know.. we really should have a curfew.. Yes. Hi guys. At the library again. We have to leave at 5am so I need to be out there before 4:40. There's no way I'm taking a nap after midnight because I don't want to risk sleeping through the trip. I got this nifty little travel pillow the other day though. It's one that goes around your neck but it blows up... so I can bring that with me and to Europe, deflate it when I'm done and put it in my purse and go. It's going to be sooooooo weird going from just trees and mountains into a huuuge city. It's always more odd because I always fall asleep on trips so I'll fall asleep not long after leaving probably and wake up to... *gasp* civilization. Who KNEW there was civilization in this world?! (But, I have nearly always gone for older men) Anyway, I don't think "eww age difference.. :thumbdown:" But I do sometimes go *blink blink* when I notice it.. it's just a general observation of how the world works.. we expect to see same age couples dating and to see an age difference isn't as common. But it is getting more common. Around here there is an amazing amount of older men with 30yo Philipino wifes... There's a bakery in town that if you go in often enough, and you're over 40, the owner will eventually ask you if you want a Phillipino bride. And he's not joking. lol!! It's common knowledge!!
