Where do you live in Portugal?

Near Oporto! :wink2:

Back on topic:

A few days ago I was here in MFC, and my brother looks at the computer and goes: "So...when is THAT GUY *points at Mika pic on the top of the page* coming to Portugal again?"

Me - Not soon, I'm afraid...

Him - Ok then. *walks away*

OKAY. i haven't contributed here in ages, so. i've mentioned this in another thread, but i'll tell you about my little brother today.

'blame it one the girls,' the clap clap song, i've been playing repeditively. today my little brother was running around the house clapping and singing

'MAYBE I'M A GIRL.. MAYBE I'M A BOOOY.' over and over. he needs his ears cleaned out.

So when we were in LA, Christine, Zoots14 and I went out with StandardToaster and one of his former co-workers.

So we're talking to this co-worker, explaining about how we all came to LA, followed clues, found Mika at an ice cream truck in Beverly Hills, got a wristband and were going to go queue up the following day hours upon hours before the show.

He was looking at us like  the whole time, and finally asked:

"You mean...adults do this? Seriously?..."

A few days ago my brother asked if Shakira was Colombian.

Me- I think she's Lebanese

Him- Why is everyone Lebanese?

My mum- Who else is Lebanese?

Him- Meescha ( he seems incapable to pronounce Mika properly, it's intentional though)

My mum- Who?

Me- It's Mika

My mum- Oh so that's what's wrong with him.

Me- :blink::blink::blink:

A very strange converstion :bleh:

Once my mum told me:

I had an awful nightmare last night!

Me: Oh? What was it?

Mum: Big Girl. It kept playing. All night long! It was awful.

Me: Nightmare? A wonderful dream yeah!

Mum: I hate this song.

:roftl: I wonder why she dreamt that Mika's songs were playing :naughty:

Btw, "Grace Kelly" was playing in a shop yesterday afternoon!! Two Mika songs in two different shops in one week! Unbelievable!! :D

That is so mean! :shocked::sneaky2:

Today I was shopping with a friend, and we walked past the Burgerweeshuis, a concert hall in Deventer, and I said "Ah, my biggest dream is that Mika will be here some day."

And then she said "You know what would be funny? If your parents don't let you go."

So mean. :sneaky2:

Last year our class went on excursion to Rome.

We were at a supermarket, and Relax, take it easy was playing on the radio.

Boy: It's almost impossible to sing those high notes Mika sings! Even women can't reach them!

*Dorien (xdorienx) and I start singing*

Boy: Oh, they can

Everytime we are listening to some music with some of my mum's friends, she (my mum) commands me (yes yes, she truly does) to put Ring Ring, and then says to her friends "Guess what! It's Mika singing! Isn't it brilliant? I LOVE this song" and if one of her friends does not seem to be actually of like mind she's like "Okay, I put it again, listen! Such a good song" until he/her admits that it's amazing.

And I promise she's not a fan of Mika, really not!

This happened the other night:

My mum watching the "On est pas couchés" video of Mika :

her : You were right girl, he's so charming. Even clearly attractive!

me :  (did I hear what she said????)

her : And clever. And grateful.

me : (can't answer, still too shocked :biggrin2:)

her : actually I'm glad you like him cuz he's so much better than lots of other pop stars...

Still can't get over it. She said so many nice things about him!

And I repeat it, she gets bored with him most of the time!

watching PDP after the animal play bit where Mika pretends to shoot the crowd with his plastic gun.

mum : thats nice, he's pretending to shoot people

me: yeah...... that is nice.

mum:  but, thats like him saying he really wants to shoot you

me : no, it means he noticed you.

mum: he's shooting randomly, Tayler.

me: he can shoot me whenever, i wont mind, because then i'll know that he noticed me.

mum: :jawdrop:

me: :roftl: i was joking.
