PEDICURED???? sack the salon!!! he NEEDS a pedicure!!! :roftl:

His fingernails are always nice tho if maybe slightly long....long nails do damage :wink2:

He likes to play with them in his mouth, so maybe that is the reason for the over hang?

xx

Well I don't know, and this not addressed to you especially daisulou, it's the whole thing about commenting on Mika's body parts which I think is going over board!

I don't like it; I think it is to go too far!

It feels like we are scrutinising some new species under a microscope!

Is it really that interesting?

Now I have watched both the making and the performance!

The making of...

In this stage if his career he has really succeeded in creating just what he is talking about, his own fantasy world to be visualised.:mf_lustslow:

He has his own style; it’s not comparable to anything else.

We all know them so well by now, the balloons, the lollipop girls, the drawings by his sister.

I feel like I’m invited to participate in his fantasy world.:wink2:

I can not say that I understood every word, especially when they had to have music playing in the back ground all the time, but there are the visuals again. Completely possible to catch.

I love to see how things develop.

I had the same experience with the art exhibition in the summer of 2007.

We all have our own references and memories and this actually reminded me of a time when I was “building theatre” (with children) from an idea, a thought, a children’s book, making the coulisses, creating accessories, up until the finished show in a room filled with the audience!

In a sooo much smaller scale of course. It was so much fun!:thumb_yello:

About the show…impressive…but still…I wouldn’t have want to be there…too big!:boxed:

He is such a brilliant artist with his magical voice and piano playing skills and, in my humble opinion; he really doesn’t need all that reinforcement behind him and around him to go through to his audience.

And I have to say, I think we had just the right amount of clowns and acrobats in Amsterdam

I don’t watch Mika’s shows for the clowns and the whole carnival; I’m absolutely content with him singing and his expressive way on stage.

I appreciate the close ups while he is playing the piano though.

It was really a big audience, I knew that at least half my circles of friends from the MFC were there but I wasn’t able to recognise one single person from the audience shots, maybe I was too slow?

A big thank you to my friend Babspanky who made this possible:wub2: she bought the DVD and send it to me when the Amazon.com failed.

Thanks for the review !!!:thumb_yello:

About seeing ppl in the audiance from your friend circle, try watching it again especially before that Teddy Bear picnic thingy, you'll see some familiar faces maybe.

No chance that you will be able to notice me though, i was way way far away in the seating area. :roftl:

these are the only 2 references I can think of from the top of my head...nothing to need a rating for tho!

I think it must have been edited down as Meeks has the mouth of a sailor normally! :roftl:

I haven't got the new DVD yet but I recall being suprized at the last one not having a single swear word it............that IS clever editting! :roftl::roftl::roftl:

Shouldn't bother him one bit though : he is such a shameless flasher :naughty: !

I mean, from the chubby little boy bullied for not conforming (with gangs, with looks, with clothes) to the icon who is repeatedly asked -begged- for his old trainers... he's gone a long way and don't tell me he hates it, he luuuuves it I bet :wink2: !

Nobody make him flash his body on stage or on DVDs, he chooses to and wouldn't if he didn't get a kick out of his fans' reaction, both his flashing :naughty: and our enjoying  being quite harmless really.

If some of us find it a little too much, they can watch Cherisse during the Love today drumming battle, she is fully clothed I noticed.

Yes, a shocking potty mouth he has (gawd, now I sound like Yoda:naughty:)

Yes, he does like the f... words, doesn't he :wink2: ? A bit like a kid who enjoys doing what's forbidden, as in 'Geez, I said f..., my mum's going to spank me !'.

It may well be a way of letting off steam too. There is much half-controlled violence in Mika :taz: , better swear than kick furniture (he could break his toes, very painful, I did it once, I don't recommend it). Or people for that matter : I think he hit his beloved Martin once :boxed: for striking the wrong note on stage...

But it's also a bit of a class thing I believe : he is not afraid of ever sounding common, so he can say whatever he f...s and wants to :thumb_yello:.

I'm sorry sienna, this just made me laugh! Surely you've seen the older

threads on the MFC -- there's one dedicated to each and every body

part of Mika's, from his hair to his dimples to his hands to his feet. This

type of scrutiny is not new here! I'm just surprised it took so long

for *this* thread to turn to such topics! :naughty:

OMG the review thread has become the feet thread???

What's next?

...wait...I don't want to know....:mf_rosetinted:

It's MFC, what did you expect?:naughty:

No serious, I agree. This IS going too far a bit. I mean, okay, shirtless is good, but I don't really want to see pics of his feet. Blegh.

Sienna!

Just after Grace Kelly (the normal, English version) ends, they do a quick shot of the audience, and you can see me for a couple of seconds next to the catwalk, kind of shaking my hair :naughty:. I am wearing a black Tshirt.

You can also see Kath next to me, but not sure if you met her? And Abby is right in front of us.

You need to be quick though!! It's very short :naughty:

I know, I've been here for sooo long!

And usually I don't say anything about it, I just don't post or even read that kind of threads...I'm not interested.

I really dont know why I reacted this time...but now it's done...and no one bit my head of.:naughty:..I even might do it again!:roftl:

I think what daisylou said, to keep that kind of chatting in a special thread is a really good idea!:thumb_yello:
