mandilambi
Hmmm, I tried to validate my points but it said "CD not valid, please try again." Any advice? PS. There were no codes associated with the Songs for Sorrow cd, correct? Edited July 20, 2009 by mandilambi
dcdeb
Deb, Hi there I'm new to Mika fan club, but not to Mika. I am having horrible prolems varifying my CD's. I put them in and all it says is cd not valid please try again. I have tried both copy's of LICM and SFS (2 of each I know it will only validate 1) and nothing I do will make it work. I have contacted push and done everything they tell me to do and still nothing. I wanna cry!!! Also kind of sucks I don't have a DVD rom drive so I can't validate my DVD's wish you could just get codes to enter for them and be done with it. Has anyone else had these issues? Thanks for any help you can offer!!! David Hi David, not sure why you're not validating if you've even spoken to Push about this. Did they tell you to clear your browser cache? Have you tried that? If so, the best thing to do is to contact them again and tell them what you've just told us here -- they've been really very helpful and I'm sure they'll work with you to make it all right. support@pushentertainment.com I have a question about my points. I got the e-mail about Mika's Magic Numbers and within the e-mail it mentioned this: "You are off to a great start as you have already bought the 'Songs For Sorrow EP' from the official MIKA store, earning you 2000 points." When I logged into my Mika's Magic Numbers area. It says on the righthand side: YOU: 699th and 600 pts underneath that. Have my 2000 points registered? If not, how do I go about doing that? I don't see a place to register them. Can someone please help me? Mandi, you'll need to log into your Magic Numbers account and then click on "validate." From that menu, select the Songs for Sorrow EP and then follow the instructions. It will tell you to insert your CD into your computer so that it can install a plugin and then validate your CD. Should be pretty straightforward, unless you run into issues like David has above. If you do, please email push at the adddress I've given. They should be able to sort you out. mandilambi
Deb, thanks for your response! I was able to log in and get to the place where I select my Songs For Sorrow CD, but whenever I choose that option it tells me that my CD is invalid. I assume that's because I didn't insert my cd? I will have to wait and try again after a while, because my cd is in my boyfriend's car. lol Shoot. ;-)

Kuikentje
Everything works fine for me except the comments. I can post comments without any problems, but don't get points for that, even after 48 hours. I'm 22nd, so I guess I shouldn't complain:wink2: But is there anyone else with this problem? If your disk has been validated, that's your lot! Edited July 21, 2009 by dcdeb
suzie
This is where Im a tad confused .. you dont need a code to validate it .. just wack it into your computer and it will do it I have already validated the EP by putting it into the laptop but it seems I would also be able to add points I got for the EP if Sandbag were kind enough to send the code to me.... I actually bought the EP twice and for myself, so it wouldn't be double-counting but I actually don't care much about it now... I will soon have enough points to have the thrid copy of it free:biggrin2:
