Now it's time to sing along - (Mika) When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on) If you feel like letting go, (hold on) When you think you've had too much of this life, well hang on 'Cause everybody hurts. Take comfort in your friends Everybody hurts. Don't throw your hand. Oh, no. Don't throw your hand If you feel like you're alone, no, no, no, you are not alone If you're on your own in this life, the days and nights are long, When you think you've had too much of this life to hang on Well, everybody hurts sometimes, Everybody cries. CazGirl
That's a good idea, considering I hate that R.E.M song too. Ah so it IS REM who sing it! I wasn't sure But the Happy Ending lyrics are quite fitting, plus it's a song that people can dig their teeth into as well. Y'know, you hear it at a concert and it's like everyone unites. The video would be epic. It should be done! Plus the song builds such suspense and has such a huge climax. Better than that whiny "Eeeeverrryyyybodyyy huuuuuuurrrrrrts..." violet_sky
I like the song. By REM. I don't really think it's live aid material. As for the Mika repertoire, I'd say Any Other World would be so perfect.
