Just got home. Tonight was utterly BRILLIANT! My entire extended family were there - youngest 14, oldest 90, and every single one of them thought Mika was fantastic! :thumb_yello:

I'm gonna have to leave it to others to do a proper review because... I need to go to bed! Got home to a message from work telling me I have to go to Paris and back tomorrow. Oh joy. If I start to keel over with exhaustion in Brighton, please someone prop me up!

mika was brilliant. Better than sex, chocolate, sunshine and puppies. As far as I could tell, everything worked tonight and Mika was on fire :wub2:

I was in the balcony - perfect view - next to very nice couple from Buckinghamshire - we all sang and waved together and there was a lot of noise in the balcony :thumb_yello:

loads of lollipop and big girls - they went in pairs so as not to run out of music - worked much better :thumb_yello:

Ooh yay! That's a pretty wide range of ages there! Good to hear everyone enjoyed themselves!

And geez! I hope you get some rest!

No - I didn't see many people - I came from work and had a seat in the circle. Saw Ttel20, laurel, Rose, Silver & Silvers' friend (who was a big girl :thumb_yello:) DaisyLou - but only briefly outside - I came home because it was so late :aah:

The notebook background is amazing:wub2:

Is the last picture, does he have confetti falling on him?

It looks like water:blink:

It's meant to be snow :thumb_yello: looks very good from the balcony :thumb_yello:

I liked the balcony because you could get the full effect of everything. Yesterday i was in the third row and struggled to see Mika - and didn't see some of the "parallel" actions (you'd know what I meant if you saw it:blush-anim-cl:) and big effects. I even failed to notice a 10ft hight grey skelly figure yesteday :roftl:

Oh OK:naughty:

I couldn't agree more. If I couldn't get front row at a concert, I would choose the balcony next.

Sometimes I think I must be mad doing all this, but tonight I remembered again that there is a good reason, a VERY good reason :wub2: He was so amazing.

Everything was perfect. And I like it when it's not perfect, it's always so interesting to see his improvising and his reactions to technical problems etc. Well, tonight everything was perfect, enjoyed that too.

I'm uploading my vids.

Edit: I was a bit tired when I wrote this, lol, didn't sleep for days. I tried to correct my wrong words, sorry...

Okay I'm going to write a report whilst I'm still hyped up (just excuse the excitement lolz)

So I got to London about 4-ish and then had to find car-parking etc. Got the box office at half 4 and got the tickets. Then my brother and me wanted food so we went to McD's and I told him that I want to be at the venue at the latest half 5. So we got there and there were about 40 fans or so indoors and 50 odd outdoors. There was a rush to the other side so the queue all got messed up but cheekily this is how me and my brother moved up. There were no barriers etc, apparently someone told me coz it wasn't sold out.

Doors opened about 7:05 (late as usual hehe) and then the rush into the venue started, I wanted to get merch but waited till afterwards (got a T-Shirt and a PERSONALISED notebook - £25 though). I was the second row to the stage right (left as you look at it), and pretty bloody pleased to be that near. My brother got a drink and got me some water and he stood at the back (bless him, though later he said he wanted to move forward. He did say though that whilst Mika was on Erik Hassle stood next to him, lucky buggar ! :biggrin2:

Anyway, Erik Hassle was great as he was the first time, changed his set around from Sheffield. The crowd was a bit stiff (but the people around me pretty much all were so I felt kinda bad for jumping just incase they did get hit....) but jumped anyway. Erik came off, and then the wait for Mika. To which Under the Sea came on again, and my brother was like "Did Mika choose this?!" Lolz :roftl:

The intro happened then Mika came on and OMGosh !!!!! :wub2::mf_lustslow: I'm so sorry but I am so hyper. Started with Rain as usual, but I don't know if it's just London but there is a different air around this gig, which is why I'm going London again when he comes back (with my now converted Mika fan of a brother :thumb_yello:). I can't remember the set-list off the top of my head but it was the same as all the rest of the gigs. The death march was pretty sweeeeet, as they didn't do that at Sheffield. I See You was different, I quite liked this version, and I loved the dancing on his piano/keyboard. :biggrin2: He caught my eye a few times and when I upload pictures you'll see one of him with a big smile on it...It's like "Wow!" Touches You, Good Gone Girl and OMGosh Happy Ending. In a way I wish I recorded it coz it was so awesome. I let my mum listen via phone, waiting to hear what she thought as she's in bed. It was nice to see so many people involved in Billy Brown, and even the people on the balcony were up for Love Today! Hehe.

He came back for the encore with Toy Boy and did a long-ish intro/speech into it, which I will post the video for too. Saying how London is his home etc. Quite sweet really. He fluffed up Lollipop as it was supposed to be the child's voice bit, but he went into singing :teehee: I don't know if anyone else noticed Lolz. Argh. So AWESOME, words really cannot explain it.

Anyone woulda thought this was my first Mika gig. But I just can't believe how so LUCKY I am to have been able to see him twice. And worst thing is, I can't even tell anyone till a few days later coz like I kinda had a "doctors appointment" in the afternoon so I could go. Hehe. What a doctors appointment that was coz I feel a HELL of a lot better :wink2::naughty: Got catching up to do now, but so worth it.

(Sorry it is so long) Now off for a shower, and hopefully bed. College in the morning.

no big report from me tonight, am too tired. i tried something new for my gray skelly costume tonight, without the hat but with glitter/sequins instead. scared a few people with that. http://twitpic.com/164nwg :naughty:

some bits+pieces though... it was fantastic! :biggrin2: gray skelly (the puppet :bleh:) was on stage during lollipop, she has a new costume (white). mika has a chair for his toyboy puppet. he talked a lot before toy boy. quick m+g afterwards.

oh, and i bought a personalized exercise book for 25 pounds and mika has written on it "i love mr. jones" :das: - so at the m+g i quickly took the chance to hold it up from the back and ask mika "who is mr jones?" :fisch::naughty: and his reaction was so funny, he put his finger to his forehead and said "aah-haa!" and grinned, as if saying "yes, THAT is the question!" - he made us even more curious about it now. :roftl:

good night for now, am reeeeallly tired and have to get up at 9 tomorrow. :aah:

nahce! :fangurl:

that's all i have to say about that :wub2:

btw, is it just me or the musicians further on this stage?

You mean that they are like far away? Yes, the stage was far and also huge, I think.
