I agree, I think they should do away with masculine and feminine in French. Would make it a lot easier :shun:

 

Well, in German we have in addition to masculine and feminine a neuter also :teehee:, but it's not so complicated as in French, I think...

all the words in Spanish have gender too... so,when you are spanish and need to learn English is quite funny when teacher says:

 

"all the articles EL,LA,LOS,LAS" translate like "the"

 

all the students go like: ":blink: and that´s all???" :aah:

 

 

I guess it´s quite difficult the other way around.....:roftl:

my niece invited us for supper last night... it was SO good!! :swoon:

 

we had brochettes cooked on the BBQ, with rice, potatoes & a delicious salad. the wine was very good too :teehee:

I think spanish is as difficult as chinese for the people who learn it :roftl:

it started with a homeless cat that hung around the field behind my house... she was so pretty ... i was calling it "my chat (cat in french)"

then when we got Mysha, my sons couldn't agree on a name for the new puppy & i told them they had 24 hours to agree and if not, i was naming her :aah:

 

so, i came up with Mysha (so it didn't look too much like it was for that cat) & found out it meant joyful (i think)
