Since this is GA it doesn't make much difference but it's a real nuisance when it's a seated gig. Oh and they also had some credit card scam in Oakland last time where they let people in ahead of everyone who had queued. I think it was Visa that time. I think they will only be allocated a certain number of tickets (in the same way they would be given a specific seating block if it was seated). JMO though. This reminds me of 2009 when MFC was given a few hours head start on the Mikasounds presale but we bought up the entire block. My husband and I each have our own card, then we also have his corporate card. I didn't realize they were so... passe'. I'm trying to see if it states a ticket limit anywhere... can't find it. I do get the American Express special mailings they send when they have presales like this, so I'll check that, too. Le Poisson Rouge was in such a lovely, intimate place, I don't think we'll ever replicate that ambiance, but Mika's energy and enthusiasm in Montreal were so fantastic. Maybe it's because I hadn't seen him live in so long, but there was something really magical about the whole evening. And of course the company was wonderful, too. For a couple of years I was unable to pinpoint a favourite gig....but now I have a few that I would put 'up there' and usually all for different reasons. I didn't actually feel the intimacy as much as those of you that were at the front - as I was at the back on the platfrom with Dave but it was still very special. I am completely out of my element here, but it looks like the AMEX BLOCK of tickets were snapped up by scalpers -- because there is a site I was referred to where you can still purchase tickets for 70+ each. All was automated; never spoke to a real person. PS: I'm 70 yrs. old & too old for this S*IT --which I actually said to MIKA once.
