It showed that people who compared him to Freddie liked his voice and liked his aura. I say: Freddie is Freddie...incredible, incomparable.......and Mika is going to be the same, in a different way! Freddie was a divine rocker....Mika is MIKA, with his Psycho bubble pop...his charming voice, his expoding vitality...etc It has been obviously a great honour for Mika to be compared to the God of rock (imho), but now he needs to find his image, his figure....and I think he's already found it thanks to his strong, surprising personality! mebigsomeisbeautiful Posted April 14, 2007 Share Posted April 14, 2007 i am a big fan of queen as well. but i think if mika is to be taken seriously as an artist he has to try and stop the accusations of oh hes like this person or that person early on in his career for him to be able to go forward with his music and be noted as a standalone artist that he is. if the media would just stop and listen to his music without putting him against other known artists im sure their reports would be a lot more individual and more true to mika himself and reasons why we love him as that individual. I definitely think after time, people will stop comparing him to Freddie. For the time being, I think he should enjoy it because after a while the compliments in comparison to Freddie will end. *ahem* and what is so wrong with Freddie's fashion sense?
