Hi!!!

So... where to begin lol.

Ok, so I arrived at the venue at around 11h30-40. And all the people there were MFCers. What a surprise I got my number - 25 - which wasn't useful after all hem.

Anyway. I was happy to see Sara, Babs, Tiibet, Lillibeth and others I had met in Milan And I met Marie-Thérèse, who offered me one of her tickets; that was so nice of her!! I also met Elise (melman) and Nanou and Silver and Axie and Olga and so many nice people. Sorry if I don't remember all the names and people. We were quite a lot.

Queuing was nice and quite comfortable, as we could go to the toilets and drink coffees at the café But I was a bit nervous because I didn't know where I had to queue, for I was with the people who had won at the auction. Anyway.

I really liked seeing Mika arrive, with his funny rucksack haha. No one shouted, everybody was calm and so was he. That was nice.

I got a wonderful pretty green-blue wristband and I boasted about it. I thought it was cooler that the purple ones. But then, one of the security women told me that I had to go upstairs because the green wristbands were for upstairs. I wasn't so happy with my pretty wristband anymore lol. I had to run down the stairs, explain my problem to the guy in the box office, get a purple wristband, run back up the stairs and I was late, for people had already started entering the room. Well, I got 4th or 5th row, so that was not too bad. And I don't think I could have made it to the front row anyway

I quite enjoyed Erik Hassle. I like this kind of music and I think he has a nice voice! And a nice hair style And he wasn't there for too long, which was good! It was a bit loud though...

Then, people came and covered the stage in silver. That was so exciting ^^. We waited I think for about 45 minutes. That wasn't too bad. I was with Mirtilla and Allegra, which was nice. I was happy I could find MFCers in the crowd. Otherwise, I would have felt quite lonely haha.

Oh and I forgot to tell about this couple. A couple came and asked if they could go to the front row, because they were huge fans of Erik Hassle, and then they would, I quote, "**** off". I had doubts, cause the woman had a silver shirt lol. Anyway, Mirtilla and I looked at each other and well, I wasn't really happy about what was going on. So I told the guy that we had been waiting for a long time because we were huge fans of Mika and we wanted good spots. I told him he could have queued too and that it was his problem. Then he was like "yeah, but you don't like Erik Hassle blah blah". But we resisted and they eventually left. Phew lol.

So Mika came. I couldn't prepare myself, and I couldn't say "monkey" that he was already singing WAG and dancing and being on fire lol. Great performance. I'm quite disappointed with the ITV video. The song live live sounded so much better!! Then he sang Big Girl. That was great!! When he finished Big Girl he said "now the gig is all ours!!!" He said "f*cking" a couple of times. It always makes me giggle lol.

I won't talk about all the songs, we all know how amazing they are and how amazing Mika is lol. BUT I have to say that I was in aw during the whole performance of Dr John. I knew it, I could feel it would be a great song. And I wasn't disappointed. It was amazing. And I found the lyrics (well, the few I could hear lol) great too!

And then Lollipop. With huge white balloons and silver confettis. Aaaaah I had seen that so many times in videos, I was really happy to experience that in real!! I have two confettis now in my wallet. Quite happy with that mwa ha ha haha.

And oh my god, Olga!! That was SO funny!!! How Mika wanted everbody on the stage. But with those barriers, it was mission impossible lool. But Olga made it and it was fantastic!!

Then it was finished. I wasn't a long gig. Everything was so quick!! It's like it started, and a moment later, it was over. Anyway, we were told to go out. And Olga told me that John told her that we could wait at the stage door. But no one really knew were it was. But we guessed where it was and we found it. There was a queue and barriers already. But not too many people. And everybody (well I think) was calm. So that was good. And we waited for Mika. *I didn't kiss him this time, and I'm proud of myself lol* I told him - in French - that I really really enjoyed Dr John and the whole gig and I said thank you. He said he was happy I liked Dr John and then he went to talk to Mirtilla.

About that: Mirtilla asked about Holy Johnny. It seems Mika had completely forgotten about this song lol. So Mirtilla suggested he could put it on one of the singles and he thought it was an idea ^^

And then, I said goodbye and took the tube to go home!!

I'm back home, a little bit tired after my flight, but happy, happy, happy I had a wonderful time queueing and loved the gig!! He was so amazing, so energetic, in such a good mood (smiling and having fun saying naughty words in live television show ) and everything was just perfect (again )

Getting in to Roundhouse was a bit chaotic. I was number 3 in the queueing list and started queueing at 8 a clock right after Kata and Babs. But the personnel in Roundhouse told I'm not in the guest list at all... So people past me when I was negotiating about my entrance and I thought I will never get in. Finally they found my name and I got the wrist band. I'm afraid Sara was stuck after me because I got problems, I'm really sorry about that! We both just run past the crowd and managed to find other MFCers. Kata was behind me, and I was worried about her, because she was suppose to be in front of me, but she got a good place, just like Babs and many other MFCers.

M&G was relaxed and nice, he said a few words to everyone, it was very nice of him. I met Anzuzu after the gig and shared a hotel room with her. It was so nice to meet other MFCers again It wasn't possible to chat with everyone, but at least I could meet many of you.

During the gig I was just smiling so stupidly Loved every second of it. I took a few vids, I'm uploading them. I'm sorry I can't write a proper report, can't find English words

Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally good!! Must admit I wasn't expecting it to be brilliant since it was just the itunes thing...usually they're pretty restrictive on what they're allowed to do etc. but he went all out! Definitely one of my favorite gigs. He was in a really good mood and seemed really relaxed (especially after the live filming finished) even though he said he was terrified. Lots of laughing and mucho eye contact etc. Quite a few mess ups which we always appreciate haha. At one point Cherisse didn't come in when she should or something (I don't really remember) But we (us lot on front row) all started at the right time and he laughed and pointed to us and said at least some of us know what's going on...or something.

The bucket of glitter throwing thing was also pretty funny... he picked up the bucket and waited for the right point in the song to throw it at us (the confetti, not the bucket..) but it didn't leave the bucket when he was hoping and ended up in a pile on his head. So he gave up with that idea and poured one over Saranayde's head too.

His potty mouth was definitely on form too...he said he was hoping the live thing wasn't still broadcasting or he'd be owing ofcom a looot of money

Stage invasion was an EPIC fail His hinting quickly turned into desperate beckoning hand movements in the direction of me, Sara and Danika but there was no way we were gonna attempt climbing that barrier... it was a bit higher than most and none of us werre willing to attempt it, especially with all those cameras on us so we just all stood shaking our heads and shouting "no way!" before he gave up and moved over to Olga and co. Song was practically over by the time 2 made it over and everyone after that got escorted (*cough* Kata *cough*) away by security

I was stood on that side, and was cringing at it. The piano bit in the verse of HE, he was just WAY too high, and it didn't sound right when Mika sang after it (Mika sounded in key, the keyboard didn't!)

Bab, you're back, how are you today?

Tired, we went to a bar with Jemma, Sarahlou and Racha afterwards, go home after four. Jemma and I are going to meet Kata and Suzie now, so just catching up quickly.

Mika - fantastic.

Have to add firstly - this was the best Mika gig I've seen so far .... I've only seen him 3 times ... but it's also the best concert I've ever been too - and I've been too alot more than 3

Me and Sosi got to the venue about 1.30-2.00pm .... we were kind of stuck round the side cos' we were ticket winners - and had to queue there - so I didn't really speak to many MFC'ers before the gig - which I was kind of disappointed about .... spent the day chatting to kt4Mika and her husband as they had won the auction .... thank you for making it such a nice day .... made the queuing go alot nicer

Doors opened and it was kind of a mad rush to get our tickets scanned and go and queue on the stairs .... we were then let further in and ended up in front of the main doors waiting for them to open .... we were all in front of one set of doors .... so of course they opened the other side .... there was a mad push to get in ... and I remember Rose shouting "Don't Push" ... some people are complete idiots and only think of themselves - have to say at this point - there was a certain young lady who was obstructing everyone getting in after Rose got in ... as she had a different wristband on - and should have been in another area and not in the main area on the floor with the rest of us - so thanks hunny for putting us all in danger - because you were selfish and wouldn't move out of the way of the doors even though you were asked too by the bloody steward - meant that at that point - there was only one side of the door you could go through - think of other people and not just yourself ...

Managed to get down to the front and ended up next to Rose ... was quite chuffed to be next to a fellow MFC'er .... but didn't realise just what fun it was going to be ....

The wait was endless ... Or seemed so to me .... I hate waiting ... but eventually Eric Hassle came on .... I enjoyed him actually .... he reminded me abit of Alphaville - they had a huge hit in the 80's with a song called Big In Japan and Sounds Like A Mellody - Funnily enough the second one was playing on my Ipod on the way to Mika ....

Mika .... what can I say .... the ITV footage does not do him justice .... he wasn't as on it as he was after the live feed finished .... but he sounded so much better than what you hear on that ..... just love WAG live .... fecking awesome .... I just can't describe what seeing him is like when he's having a fantastic gig really .... he was just on it .... the crowd were fantastic and he seemed to feed off that ..... I just loved every second of it .... The eye-contact me and Rose got was incredible ... I've never had that before with him .... just beyond words when you have him beaming down at you as your singing back at him at the top of your lungs .... he just makes me feel .... I don't know .... beyond being a teenager .... this is like being a hyper teenager .... The whole throwing glitter thing that backfired on him .... he stood right above us ... and you knew what was coming .... and then it failed - and then Saranayde payed with a bucket over her head right after that ... you couldn't help laughing at him .... his face when it went over him was priceless ... he had to make someone look as silly as he did right then ....

Rain .... have to agree with whoever said they didn't really like it but it was bloody fabulous last night .... I said exactly the same thing to Rose, Sosi, Kath and Silver ... I've never really liked it much - but it changed my mind - I couldn't stop dancing ... and was it Rain he did the little rap in ... ummmmmm what was that about .... please don't do that .... I didn't even realise he was trying to rap until it was nearly over ... lol

Love Today is still probably my fave song live along with Relax .... I just love hearing them - the energy from the crowd .....

Lollipop ... I do love people trying to catch the balloons for themselves to keep ... but I wish they'd think of other's around them because I could barely see anything because the two girls next to Rose nabbed balloons ....

Ruined it abit for me ... so I just jumped and sang anyway even though I couldn't see him ....

Oh God don't get me started on the Erik Hassle couple. (I quite liked him by the end of his set, he was a pretty good support act - though I was put off him a bit at the start by his slightly arrogant swagger onto the stage).

I could feel a bit of pushing and I said to my friend 'don't let anyone through' But then the ginger woman just barged right past her, splitting us up and were doing the whole 'excuse me can we get through we like Erik Hassle' rubbish and I just said 'no, I like Mika'. And he was all 'Well we're here to see Erik Hassle' and I said 'well funnily enough I'm here to see Mika.' Then he started saying all that rubbish about how they were massive fans of Erik Hassle and they'd go to the back after he'd finished yadda yadda yadda and I said 'to be honest, I actually couldn't care less' and he was like 'all right all right, just trying to be friendly!'. OBVIOUSLY not when him and his girlfriend had practically trampled my friend - no manners, just actually barged through, but they asked when they got to me because I had positioned myself so there were no available barging areas.

Really put me in a bad mood for it and I was raging for a good ten minutes and still pretty sour until they started showing the programme on the screens. They ended up going across in the end and didn't get any closer, if anything they got a worse view than if they'd stayed behind us.

And the bloke stunk and had greasy hair, so his lack of personal hygiene was even more reason for me to be angry as I had experienced it far too close. PFFFT.

I hope none of you let them push, it properly makes me angry when people shove their way through. I don't mind letting people get back to their mates after they've gone to the loo, gone to get a drink etc, but I was most certainly not having THAT.

Gosh, that was a bit epic. Needless to say Mika made me so super happy that I forgot all about them until I read a post a page or so back.

I don't know how much has been said but I shall do a quick recap as I have to get up early for work tomorrow, boo!

 

Ok got to the venue at aroung 9.50am with Jennie we were no11 and 12. Babs and Kata got there at like 8 or before?

After a while John came to sit down with us having a nice convo seeing if we were all right.

Then supposedly Greg came (I was in the loo at the time) and was a bit lost on how to get in the venue even if the doors were right in front of his face

Then Ian walked out and came back in with venue.. We didn't really notice and we were like 'Oh it's Mika'.. No one moved or shouted at him or anything, very nice. Although someone at the back was like "oh if they're supposed to be big Mika fans why don't they run up to him". Anyway...

People who had won the tickets got in first where as people who were on the guestlist were left behind but luckily they managed to catch up with the rest of us even though lots of people got peed off, but whatever, they deserved to get their places at the front.

The band came on first then Dave Berry and Fearne Cotton (tv presenters) came on to resent Mika, then he came out, in his white dungarees And started singing WAG. That song is AMAZING live! Just the whole atmosphere there was AMAZING. He then sang (in no particular order): BIOTG, Rain (this version is SO SO good), Dr John (great catchy song, love it!), Blue Eyes, SITM, GK, BG, Relax, LT, BB. He went off then came back to do an encore of Lollipop. He tried to get us on stage but we were shouting back 'NO WAY!!' but he still managed to get like 3 or 4 people on stage. I think Kata tried to go on but then they took her out

 

Gig over, we went to line up for a meet and greet. Twas really nice, everyone waited for their turn. No pics were allowed with him but he casually chatted with everyone and signed stuff. I told him how I was doing something for the MFC documentary so I asked him if he could say a quick 'The MFC are amazing' so he did.. Well in his words it was more of a 'The MFC are fierce!' then he said how he doesn't go on the MFC and I told him he was missing out then he was like 'no, I'm not' lol. Yeah right!

 

Oh and also don't know if it was mentioned before. Andy said how there would be 4 versions of the making of the WAG video? I'm not sure when they're coming out, heck I didn't even know what he was really talking about Maybe someone else can explain it better.

 

Anyway, off to bed I go! In so much pain but it was well worth it!
