Sabine64
I thought the same about Paul, the show seems a bit disorganized but it's so funny and he is so sweet to Mika every time. I really like him And I was wondering the same about Wham. His reaction is so exceptionally strong. Maybe he has some personal memories about their music or something... Just watched some parts of the show again. Song Bird was so pretty! Very touching. Maybe there mustn´t be a reason for not liking Wham, there is one singer who I hate very much, he never did something wrong but when I saw him the first time I knew I wouldn´t like him and when I heard his voice I knew I hate him from the bottom of my heart. I think Paul´s concept is not to seem too professionel and so the whole show is very human and funny. I would like to have a showmaster like him in Germany ( some years ago we had Jürgen von der Lippe who was a bit like this and I loved his shows ). A. Clay
I'd love to see the WHOLE show, PLEASE !!! IngievV
You think? I thought it was one of the most unprofessional things I've ever seen. It's amusing though and Paul is very sweet. Loved seeing everyone in the audience. It's really cool how Dutchies know the words to all these English songs. You put us all to shame. We have no idea about Dutch songs or anyone's songs really. I don't understand why Mika is so anti Wham. That's the second really negative reaction he's had when someone has brought them up. They were original and cheeky and fun. And could rap better than Mika. That's what I love about his shows. It's all meant to be a bit of a choas but Paul knows exactly what he's doing. There's been a lot of cutting though. Mika originally played the Wii as well but it didn't work out with 4 people XD. Anyways, I enjoyed this show much more than Life4you were basically everyone sits at a table and talks. I read an interview with Paul and he said he never wants to do that and just wants to engage the audience. The moment he walked in, even though the cameras weren't rolling, he was joking around and really was the way he is on tv. When Mika was late he shouted "MIKAA! COME OFF THE TOILET NOW!" I remember in 2009 he came to the tent personally to apologise for overbooking and assured us we'd all get to see Mika. He could have let a staff member do it but I thought it was great he did himself. About the songs, we cheated though, they showed the lyrics on the screen XD but generally we know many English songs, probably more than you know Dutch songs

I reserve that kind of hatred for child molesters and animal abusers, not bad singers. You are harsh! Mika seems to like George Michael so I don't get his Wham issue. I mean the worst thing you could say about them is exactly what people say about Mika. They were super camp and songs like Wake Me Up were irritatingly happy pop. Christine
That's what I love about his shows. It's all meant to be a bit of a choas but Paul knows exactly what he's doing. Yes you can tell he's planned out a million details and you can see his mind working. I guess it turns into a mess because no one else knows what's going on. Or at least Mika doesn't and I suppose the Dutch doesn't help because it takes him a minute to catch up. It's still funny though. I liked the Sound of Music bit. But really, what's not to like about Wham!? (I wasn't even born when they split up, but I love most of their hits ) Especially if you're a pop singer/lover and not some metal-head kid And how is it even possible to hate Last Christmas? lynx
I understand. I hate Spandau Ballet's "Gold." I don't know how I would react if anyone asked me to my face. So... But yeah, "Last Christmas" is a very nice song. But probably "Gold" is, too. So I understand.
Christine
Especially if you're a pop singer/lover and not some metal-head kid I was a metal head kid in the 80s and I still loved Wham. Come on Mika you don't love this? REALLY?

This kind of hatred for people like that is quite different for me because there are also feelings like anger, fear and desperation inclusive. Probably this singer isn´t bad but he seems to be the person I can´t stand since the first view.

Machoefeltje
I saw the show today, I had to record it because I went out yesterday. I was incredibly happy when I saw that 'Langs De Leeuw' would be broadcast on Ned1, it's one of the few tv channels from The Netherlands I can receive in Belgium I really loved the show, although I'm not a big fan of Paul De Leeuw, but he and Mika, it's a combination that seems to work perfectly So it was very fun to watch, and I laughed a lot. The cooking with the 'piepkuiken' he carried around with him, the Christmas diner in the end... And it was also a lot of fun to see you MFC'ers in the audience, especially during Only Love You When I'm Drunk with the dance from Brussels and when Mika started to dance too. It brought back a lot of memories It was great to watch.
