babspanky Posted January 11, 2009 Author Share Posted January 11, 2009 At Somerset House, he made a new mateIts fair to say they were getting on great So out came the wand and his friend came running "Oh My God Mika, I'm Alan Cumming" The wizard boy we've mocked him so Before each gig, after every show No topic sacred from our biting wit From infant nutrition to his latest hit The cancellations, his chafed up thighs The Billy Brown stories, his crazy lies Appearing in soup and sacking his L We take every chance to give the boy hell The apples we go where others shan't dare We're risking a banning yet we don't care For taking the piss is simply our way Of showing this boy what we're loathe to say That in spite of it all when those dimples appear And he's up on the stage where it all becomes clear Why we've blown our dosh and endured queuing hell This kind and fine boy has us under his spell There once was an arse, quite cute I supposewe don't know if shaven or waxed twas owned by a wizard, who used it as most to sit upon when he relaxed but sometimes the wizard was shakin' his stuff and something quite odd became clear it's said to be true, if you looked close enough a sunbeam emerged from his rear so people would gather from there and from here to get a good look at the man according to rumours all those who got near came home with a beautiful tan Oh my! I was kind of under the influence of just a bit of champagne:blush-anim-cl: buzzed writing can be lethal, but i think this worked well. A piano and a song. Mine? A pen and some pages to peel... Are these just dreams? Illusions he created? Things we both thought up? No. They are much more than that. They are the iridescent pigments within the iris of an artists eye. They are Ideas paved more indulgently than all the rest in lustrous words flowing out of a paper cup. The man, the art, the lullaby…helped build these wings of mine. And now I think, it is time for me to fly I know who I am and what I will do. He was the last match in the box, my light switch turned on. Finally, I am dreaming awake…and so the dusk is free to lay its head in the lap of the dawn. The musings of a random person on Venice Beach I was getting a suntan on Venice Beach, LA, When this guy comes up to me, to say, "Please listen to a song,through an earphone speaker Written and performed by a bloke called Mika" So I listen... and I hear his song I even start to sing along I begin to wonder if his fans, somehow Have heard the songs I'm hearing now? If not, it seems an awful shame that someone who didn't even know his name Can listen to his latest work, While on their computers his true fans lurk. So Mika, your work is good, it's true, I guess I have become a fan too, But please think of the others waiting patiently, And let them hear those songs, like me.
