I liked it too!:thumb_yello:

I’ve just watched the movie The Black Balloon.

It’s about a boy who has an elder brother with autism and it’s so touching.

The film doesn’t shy away from the fact that it is hard trying to live a normal teen age life when all the family life circulates around his brother and all their problems in their every day life.

It’s Australian and to me it’s fascinating to see how hot the weather is where they live.:wink2:

Anyone seen it?

I really recommend it!

Today I saw the movie Towelhead, it was about a 13 year old girl and it was very touching. Sometimes almost unbearable!

It hurts to see a young girl become so betrayed by the people around her, especially her parents who are supposed to protect her!

Good actors and very well done!:thumb_yello:

I really recommend it, but please be prepared that it is a very serious film.

Viewed 3 movies recently--

Rachel Getting Married:

http://www.sonyclassics.com/rachelgettingmarried/

[Received a bunch of awards, but I didn't enjoy it much.

If you like Virginia Wolf-type-stuff, it might appeal.]

Duplicity:

As a whole, it kind of irritated me.

The best part, for me, was the opening slow-motion brawl

between two corporate bosses: PRICELESS!

Sunshine Cleaning:

Of the three, I preferred this one, but I've become a fan of Amy Adams.

Only the first one has reached my little country!

I liked it a lot but maybe that's because I'm a huge fan of Anne Hathaway!:wink2:

Hope you like Scarlett Johansen.

I accidentally saw a film named The Children!:yikes:

I don’t use to see horror movies and this one started very innocently but after a third of the movie things started to happen!:sweatdrop:

I really wonder how they can have children actors involved in a film like this, how do they do it without scaring the little ones???

One of the leading actors is Rachel Shelley (Helena Peabody from L-World) she’s good!:wub2:

Not a bad movie, not at all...but very, very scary!:boxed:

I forgot to add my opinion of it. My bad. I thought it was really, really good. I found it to be a touching story and the acting (and such) was wonderful. :thumb_yello:
