We had an English project where we had to design an album cover that represented this year... Of course, mine was inspired by LICM. I changed some of the symbols on the album itself to fit with things that have happened to me this year. I spent much more time on it than I probably should have, but I think it turned out pretty well. What do you guys think? I think it's really BEAUTIFUL. I'm sure your teacher liked it, right? When I started to listen* to mikas music this was what got stucked in my head. I call it 'Lollipop Head'. In order to get it out of my head I started to draw it. Took days and the colors are not as bright as I wanted them. (and I really like the pencil drawing at the beginning more but anyways). It is sort of inspired by mika but at the same time its me. Not sure how to explain. I have an artist name which is Heilewelt which can be translated as 'ideal world' but in the end I am nothing like this-get married, build a house and plant a tree. Maybe I should leave it up to you to judge and interpret and do whatever. I am really open for critics as well. *Just "discovered" his music-look at the introductionarea if you want to know why . So, licm completly and songs for sorrow pretty much came at the same time to my ears. The stuff that looks a bit strange is glitter. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

IMO, even though I don't really know you or what the drawing means, I think that the character has that lollipop head because you think with your head, and he/she has a different kind of head, different look into things...Sees all that "normal" world on top of her/his own hideway, the rainbow. It looks a bit like me but really it isn't at all. She's in her own world supposedly, and her wings have the lyrics from "Your Simpathy". Even having the real picture in your hands it is not the thing that pops in your eye. Thats the way I wanted it. My interpretation is actually my intention of what I wanted to show-I know what I wanted to do but I love to know how other people see it, if I was able to transmit to the viewer what I wanted to say. Well, I tried to wrote down what I wanted to say and now I will wait.
