Great news, congrats everyone going!! :yay:

I hope I can stay awake to watch it online, it's 2.30 AM here... :biggrin2:

online? can we?

Oh, we can't? I have seen links and I was hoping we can watch it online. I'm not sure anymore, waiting for the Canadian fans to make it clear :teehee:

YES! you can watch it live as it is happening on the internet. I checked with a few members from around the world if the link worked & it did! :yay:

problem is, the show starts at 19h30 Montreal time & it lasts 3 hours :naughty:

As Christine said, i think we will just be brought out when Mika is on stage :naughty:

Here is a translation (google) of what was on Mika's facebook:

Be among the few lucky fans who deserve a standing room near the stage and attend Mika's performance at Star Academy. You will also have the chance to watch the show in a VIP lounge with giant screens, between the performance of Mika. You will need to ensure you can get to the recording studio by your own means. The studio is located in St-Hubert, on the south shore of Montreal .......

Which is perfect! I didn't watch the show at all, so it's fair to say i'm only going there for Mika :naughty: But don't get me wrong, this is going to be a good show musically speaking. I would say you could compare it to maybe American Idol finale? kinda? sorta? :blush-anim-cl::naughty:

Get ready to be blown away by our wonderful, beautiful Quebec French accent! :yay:

Son premier album, Life in Cartoon Motion sort en février 2007.

Promotion

Ses albums Life In Cartoon Motion et The Boy Who Knew Too Much sont disponibles en magasin.

thanks for posting... it's everything we already know, Roxy can knock herself out and translate if she wants :naughty:

It's pretty good, except they say he composed the music for a chewing gum commercial  don't think that's true... he was just a kid no?

He's said that in a few interviews, it was for Orbit chewing gum, but I think he sang on it didn't he?

Yes you should be able to watch it online. If you can stay up at that ridiculous hour. :aah:

Rosa I think as sometimes happens in these situations the needs of the fans, (Team and) Mika, and the TV show all aligned at once. I am hearing that they (the show) will bring us out just for Mika's appearances because they want fangurls standing at the front. Then you won't have that awkward moment (as we've seen on some shows :mf_rosetinted:) where Mika is encouraging the audience and they are just sitting in their seats

Anyway I am thankful to Team Mika for organizing it late on a Friday night. It must be difficult trying to sort everything out at the last minute and that's how these things always go. :aah:

I was feeling a bit nostalgic/down this week because it's been 5 years since Mika's first appearances in Montreal/Toronto and it will be nice to see him again without having to cross the Atlantic and Pacific oceans as I've had to the last couple of years. And of course it's amazing for the Montreal girls who haven't had the chance to see him at all during that time. I think it's going to be really exciting for everyone :fangurl:

Yeah, this must be pretty embarrassing... not for the audience, but for Mika :aah:

I´m really happy these thinks still happen. Where did the contest happened? Facebook? Mikasounds? MFC?

Oh he is afraid of Roxane... i had to sign papers to say that i would keep her sedated for the duration of the show... and she has to wear a straight jacket.

But it's not a huge price to pay to be in the audience to see Mika no? :mf_rosetinted::aah:
