Pas une surprise, quand on sait que dans les allées du festival, il se dit qu'arriver en retard est une preuve de notoriété... si c'est vraiment le cas, Mika ne pouvait évidemment pas déroger à la règle !!! 18h18 Encore dix minutes de retard supplémentaire... on nous indique que, lors de la première annonce, il partait tout juste de son hôtel... 18h26 Mika n'est toujours pas là, les journalistes sont toutefois tous restés. Mika est très attendu... 18h27 Ah, le voilà !!! 18h27 Les journalistes posent les micros tout autour de l'artiste. 18h28 18h28 Question (journaliste) : Connaissiez-vous déjà le Printemps ? 18h29 Oui, c'est quand même un grand festival, pas autant que les Eurockéennes, mais oui... 18h30 Mika parle des rencontres que l'on peut faire dans les festivals, le sentiment de communauté, par opposition aux tournées en bus et où il est difficile de rencontrer des gens, autres musiciens, etc. 18h30 Il adore les festivals où il y a un mélange de musiciens, de styles musicaux ; "Ca inspire beaucoup" 18h31 Et il trouve ça "cool" pour le public, car il y a une meilleure atmosphère que dans des festivals plus spécialisés. 18h31 Pour lui, un festival doit donner la chance aux découvertes. C'est l'occasion de découvrir de nouveaux artistes. 18h32 18h33 Question (journaliste) : tu préfères les grandes scènes ou les concerts plus intimistes ? 18h33 Les deux. Il aime alterner, il dit pouvoir être à Bourges ou à Tokyo, si le concert fonctionne bien, il a le même sentiment. 18h34 Question (journaliste) : Au mois d'août tu auras 30 ans, as-tu envie de nouvelles choses ? 18h35 Je ne sais pas, j'ai déjà eu plein de crises dans ma vie, on verra... les changements c'est bien, c'est essentiel sinon je m'ennuie. 18h35 Question (journaliste) : n'y a t'il pas un risque de lassitude quand on fait autant de concerts, comment fait on pour recommencer tous les jours ? 18h37 L'avantage, c'est que ça m'emmène autour du monde, je ne peux pas être blasé car je ne sais jamais où ça va m'emmener... donc je ne peux pas trop me reposer là-dessus, il faut se réinventer, trouver quelque chose de frais pour que ça ne devienne pas chiant. 18h38 Mika explique qu'il a commencé la musique à 11 ans, qu'il n'était pas trop doué pour l'école car dyslexique... il a eu une prof qui venait de Russie, et puis le choix de la musique s'est présenté comme une évidence... 18h40 Mika parle de son univers, de la joie, des couleurs, il aime les choses qui sont dans le style "dance"... It looks like news to most people here, so that's why I note that concert tours or even musical performances to live audiences are organized by concert promoters. So it is not directly the artist's management but these promoters who negotiate with the venues and promote the gig itself..etc. That's the type of promoter he mentioned. If he is planning to perform with an orchestra, like he says, those promoters understandably worry about not being able to recover the costs if the audience will only consist of a small number of people.
