    He did say on the BBC radio show that he texted with her about her cover of "To Make You Feel My Love", not realizing it was a Dylan cover, so I'd say they still communicate, at least somewhat...

    Being followed down the hall by boys who barked, called ugly, string bean, Muttley and more... it left me feeling unlovable for many years. Being vulnerable because of the words left me open to other maltreatment and I have never forgotten it, even now. I've had zero tolerance for the kids who bullied my kids and refused to just "let it go" when they did. It definitely does change a person.

    I can't even. David epitomized the persona inside of me as a young theatrical imp, longing to be so much more than I was in my small town world, surrounded by people who didn't understand me, understand anything. They still don't.I look at them and it's so obvious. David made it OK to be me. To have those thoughts and dreams.

    Merry Christmas to all of you, my friends through MFC, including those I haven't met yet. May 2016 bring us (including those of us in North America south of the Canadian border) lots of gigs and Mika happiness, and memories with one another. And a special shout out to Kreacher, Yang and BangBangLou - hope to see you ladies this coming year!

    His summer reading lists are so much fun, indeed. I seem to never be able to stick to one, though. I end up going to yard sales and picking up books that catch my attention! (And you couldn't pay me to read Ayn Rand.)

    I always envision him as a young'un pulling faces at his sisters, and them getting their mother's attention, and her looking at Mika, who'd by then reverted to a normal face, as if to say WHAT???
