    This is such a hard one to answer, I have no clue...though there's 2 different answers. My story with Mika is rather long and detailed, with lots of times where he & his music was a sort of semi-present figure in my life before I really fell for him. So...if I had not gotten lost in the youtube suggested videos just over a year ago and fallen madly in love, I don't know where I would be! I know I would be less one of the things that makes me happy. I can't imagine my life without the bursts of joy his smiling face brings me every day. But deeper and more emotionally, and the second answer - if I hadn't discovered Happy Ending and Grace Kelly when I did, for the first time, many years ago (2011 or 2012?) - then I REALLY don't know. Those 2 songs were a big part of my coping mechanism during a difficult part of my life, and I think they helped tremendously to pull me out of it. Perhaps I would have had a harder time recovering from that, and not have recovered as completely. So I think, without Mika, I would be much less happy - either in a simpler way, not having this source of joy, if he wasn't as large a part of my life; or in a much deeper, more intrinsic, mental health sense had I never discovered his music at all. Short answer: I really need Mika - and have many times, and for a long time; even when I didn't really know it

    I had missed this thread also...I think that actually is him. Had I heard that with no context I would have thought it was a 20-30 year old woman too , but having heard a clips of his voice when he was young...I think that really is him. I guess this means we've finally heard the elusive BA hold music Now, what sort of superhuman vocal ability an 11-13 year old boy (forgive me, not exactly sure what year the ad is from) would have to sing like that is completely, entirely beyond me . If that's what he was capable of at that age it does shed some light on how he's able to do what he does now. (OT: we really need an "in complete awe" emoji, I keep wishing I had one for moment like this XD)

    I've had kind of a similar experience where Mika has helped cheer me or bring me out of things unexpectedly or through weird coincidences/timing/unlikely things. Not only has he pulled me out of some sad spots in obvious ways, but multiple times now I have felt down or worried and I will run across something Mika related or something he's said and it will be exactly what I needed in that moment. Endlessly thankful to him for that

    Me again! For those of us on the wrong continent to have been at Bercy... I made a stencil out of the heart and sponged it in with red fabric paint. SO happy with how it turned out! Update edit: I've written a detailed tutorial on how I made this shirt here :-)

    I have tried every kind of tech wizardry I can and it seems the R2 website has set themselves up just so that things cannot be downloaded. I think the only way to get this is going to be to record it.

    Re: the "you bastard" bit before Good Guys - was that in reference to Andy? I'm guessing it was, but it's not clear exactly who he's talking to/about. Could one of the lucky souls who was at the gig fill me in on what was happening immediately before the start of that video? "It's only cause i love him so much that I call him a bastard" is so cute

    This is so amazing it feels like being hit with a truck. But it's a very pleasant truck. A voice-truck. I'm sort of curled up in my chair listening to it for like the 6th time in an hour. This is one of those that washes over you completely.

    THAT ONE THAT'S THE SUIT THANK YOUUUUUU I kNeW I WASN'T IMAGINING IT I just bought a hairbow at H & M that is EXACTLY this tartan (BECAUSE I KNEW when I saw it it matched a suit/jacket he had worn) but never could find photos of the actual one and was beginning to think I had made it up. Merci, merci, merci!!!

    Has anyone got any pictures/video/memory of him wearing a darker tartan suit? It's not the jacket with all the embroidery on it and I don't THINK I'm thinking of the red suit. I have some memory of him wearing a darker tartan suit, predominantly blue maybe? The red one does look less red under different light though, so I may have imagined this and might be thinking of the red suit after all. Did I invent this other suit lol? Has my brain gotten so mixed up with all the crazy suits I don't know what he's actually worn anymore?
