    I'm in shock because of the bridge in Genova, me and my family used that bridge several times when we spent our summer in Liguria, our favourite region in Italy, the last time only a month ago... My mother always said the bridge is ugly and was afraid of passing it. I can't believe what happened... :shocked:

      I almost cried seeing the pictures, it really hits me hard... :emot-sad: It's always a tragedy but it affects you even more when you know the place where it happened.

    It's insane, I remember how big GK was here in 2007, still played on the radio and in the charts, my first Mika song I enjoyed as a kid/teenager (I was 11-12 at the time) and I can't believe that the song was "banned" somewhere else... I simply don't get it.

    Do you remember all those articles from this year, where the journalists wrote Mika is 38? It seems that according to Google 29 is the new 38 because now if you google "Mika" or "Mika's birthday", you get the date and place of birth of a guy named Micael Borges who also use the nickname Mika... :lmfao:

      @kreacher Yes, I agree, I mean, maybe it's his nickname in real life too, but he must know that there's already another famous singer using the name Mika, he could at least write himself as Mica or come up with something else, it's better to have an original brand name... I hope he doesn't want to take advantage of the name, some people can easily get confused because of it.

    Just a little story... Today I went to a concert which was a part of Prague Pride. At the very beginning before the first performance they started to play Grace Kelly. I know, it's the most basic Mika song, but I was so happy to hear it. However, after the first seconds I realized it's a cover! It was so weird to hear Grace Kelly without Mika's voice. It was so disappointing... :no:

      @Maria :) It's also really rare here to hear another song than GK or Relax. This was in a clothing store too. I walked by it and I had to stop and listen to the end of the song. :lmfao: And I also found Mika's Pilot Pens at the supermarket. It's nice to "see" and hear Mika while shopping... :wub2:

    It's well known in the Czech Republic too like many other "older" Italian songs (I knew even the song which was played right after Mika's performance).

    I unfortunately don't speak French so I can't help you but it seems that many Mika fans share a passion for languages. I'm studying translation and interpreting studies too.

    Those little joys like watching a part of Mika's performance of Relax from last night and just after that spontaneously turning on the radio and hearing the first notes of Relax playing there... :wub: (I know it's not a big thing to hear Relax on the radio but in that moment it felt just magical. ❤️)

      in morocco for example we have "elle me dit" on the radio, no GK or relax

      Same in Spain. I only listen on the radio GK, Relax or LYL as it was a song for a spanish beer. Really sad. It seems he didnt evolve since GK. He always will be known as the GK or Relax guy. :winksmiley02:

    I have to say I wasn't a fan of him at the beginning of his career but now on the new album there are some enjoyable songs! I really like Done For Me (I think this is my favourite because it has a good beat and it's catchy) and also How Long.

    I have to say I always admire your supply of gifs, it has to be really sophisticated because you find an appropriate gif for every situation...

    I think that bonus tracks (if there aren't acoustic versions or remixes) are usually just songs that don't make the cut but are still pretty good... As you usually record more songs for an album than you finally choose to use. So maybe some of the songs he doesn't want to have on the standard 11 tracks edition anymore if he doesn't hate them too much?

    That explains why once Google considered Mika a female singer when I was searching for something, I've been always wondering about it (I didn't know about the other MIka...). But what does any of these Mikas have in common with the band The Boss from Soul, South Korea?! EDIT: One of the members is called Mika...
