I merely got a grunt from John when I said hello and he was in such a foul mood, yet here he was today HANDING OUT FECKING HOT CHOCOLATE!!!!!! WTF IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?!?!?!?! Being stuck behind some 6" foot person and couldn't see a thing throughout the gig? That was unlucky. Got invited to go to the after party but couldn't, and never met him. That was unlucky. Parents bought me tickets to see Mika at hammersmith, that was lucky. Finally got to London but heard it was postponed. That was unlucky. Heard Mika apologise on the phone? That was lucky. Hammersmith finally went ahead despite Mika's bronchitis? That was lucky. I tried to tell Andy who I was but he walked off halfway through my explanation. That was unlucky. John was hardly friendly or in the mood for a chat. That was unlucky. After waiting for over a year to finally meet the man who made my life happy, only to discover that it was going to be less than 2 minutes and barely saw a glimpse? That was unlucky. sigh. I was supposed to be in London right now, at the concert but I got sick and had to cancel. I missed the gig, missed meeting all the MFCers and spent a buttload of money for nothing. But I still don't feel bad. I'm happy for Wendi and Kath, I'm happy for everyone who got to see Mika before the gig and had an amazing time watching him perform.
