then he introduced billy brown, the way he does in all other concerts ... but in Lebanese

"haydi il ghineyeh issit sadi2eh billy brown" "this song is the story of my friend billy brown"

then the stage went dark... and "Rafa" voice started reciting her story (taken from the album)

This was my favorite live song ever... i can not describe the way he played the song or the way the crowd interacted... it was very intimate a his voice was perfect... the whole stage was dim except the clown's face in the background

towards the end of the song he left the piano and encouraged the crowd to sing along...

Then there was ring ring (i think, am not sure of the order)

more to come....

Any Other World.....every time I listen to this song I think about Lebanon....so I understand hhow special and emotional it must have been, played in the Martyrs' square...:wub2:

Cant wait to watch ur vids!

Lebanon must be the only country in the world where citizens are hanging arround with the national flag in their pocket :roftl:

then he started clapping and asking the crowd to clap along ... and he started "stuck in the middle"

the energy was enormous, Mika looked like he drank a whole case of red bull, asking the crowd to sing along, teasing them (similar to other shows), he was super playful and having fun... so was the crowd... a tap dancer with a huge mask danced in front of the crowd, mika played along with him, kneeling next to his shoes with his microphone to get the taping sound... then both danced like kids on stage (that was really funny and made people laugh), then the tap dancer was escorted out of the stage by a huge security guy - Mika interrupted to song's lyrics with a cheeky "bye" to the dancer

followed by "I just can't get enough", it was difficult seeing him stand still as he was jumping up and down during the whole song, dancing with the backup singers who did a great job singing along... the crowd (especially the 80's generation all sang and danced along)

Love today intro started ....

Great report Racha, I'm all :boing: waiting for the next part. :huglove:

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

need to interview cubitus properly when he's back! :naughty:

probably Cubitus mistaked the gig... he was at gig of ... i don't know... maybe bruce springsteen...

when all the crowd sang "dancing in the dark" just Cubitus (the only lonely one) was singing "love today" :naughty:

In Grace Kelly, he held the umbrella again... then on top of Mikey.. the threw the umbrella to the crowd

the crowd went insane (as usual, it is the most popular song) and I think he wore a different shirt there...

he said goodbye, but no one left.. the crowd was expecting Lolipop...

Technicians got the white sheet ready, shadows started forming... and the picnic act started...

the funny thing, this picnic act was more PG 13.. and not as steamy as the ones I have seen in London and Amsterdam... but at least the Teddy bears were kissing ...

the usual act, with the bad bunny, then he came with his toy riffle.. shooting the bad bunny and Lollipop started..

in the meantime, and through out the whole concert, the pizza slice and diet coke kept going back and forth by the crowd to wards the stage... everyone was in a playful mood...

in Lollipop he got several more inflatables... one looked like an ice cream but with the word "Lollipop" written on it...

The lollipop girls distributed lilipops... he was wearing a tiger uniform.. seemed to be having more fun than a kid on his birthday... no one could wipe that grin off his face while he was singing..

while he was singing lollipop, a huge balloon blew right next to him and he jumped and he laughed at himself... THAT WAS HILARIOUS

:roftl:

It must have been hilarious indeed :roftl:

mm quick question, what did he mean when he said that it all depends on the venues and staffs? for future reference i'd like to know and prepare for a meet and greet and know if it will actually happen..my sister told me that it was impossible considering the fact that it was a big venue and that meet and greets are usually held at smaller local venues. Rasha, have u met Mika himself before :D?

HI Racha, thank you for reporting us the concert with so many details and for transmitting all the emotion you’ve felt inside there.:thumb_yello:

I’m sure that Mika’s realized a huge dream with this concert in Beirut and certainly his emotion was shared with his family. :cheerful_h4h:They were glad to go back “home”.:plane:

… home sweet home…
