silver Posted December 1, 2009 Share Posted December 1, 2009 YES. I mean, all that X Factor crap? And Jay Sean? Kesha? BEP? I listen BBC Radio 1 all the time, and some of those songs... bleah. It's no worse than the US Top 40, though, and at least you occasionally hear something like Paolo Nutini or Florence and the Machine... But I really expect to hear MIKA more often! Actually I quite like Jay Sean (except for the autotuned rap in the middle) But X-Factor .. And there are songs in the charts atm that are so dreary and pedestrian. I am currently obsessed with getting Mika promoted in my area. I badgered my college radio station djs enough that they have actually mentioned him on the air and promise to play BIOTG next week.
